If I recall, You get the Helm of The Red if the militia survive, a good low level helmet, gives a nice dex bonus too

@FALUKYOURMOM what i mean is, lets use this battle in redcliff, if your party dies and then loses the battle of redcliff then redcliff is destroyed and you revive in the morning, if you win the battle then redcliff stands, it would take alot of work for developers

Fighting that many with Alistair, the dog, Morrigan, and the most useless player character I've ever seen..you held it together, but barely. I'd want you on my side in a desperate fight, but I wouldn't want you commanding it, considering how close the fight was, and how many helpful things you missed. Still, you survived the night..

..now you have to 'actually' take the fight to them, in a fortified castle, where not all is as it seems..this will be interesting.

(cont from last comment): the last person you can recruit is the elf sitting at the table near the door in the tavern. Talk to him and you'll find out he's a spy from Loghain. Intimidate him so he'll get scared you'll kill him and then tell him you'll spare his life if he goes out and fights for the militia.

Last tip, in the general store, go look at the oil barrels then go up to Ser Perth and tell him about them and how you could use them to your advantage. Now you'll have fire on the pikes.

(cont last comment): Go up to the tavern and talk to the bar tender. Ask him questions about what's been happening and he'll tell you he's been hiding out in his cellars. You have to intimidate him and tell him to go out and fight. He'll be like "okay okay I'll go fight."

Go talk to Bella (I think that's her name), the waitress that's walking around, ask to see what Lloyd (the bar tender) has for supplies, and you get a bunch of stuff free. (see next comment)

Toegoff missed the opportunity to recruit 5 other people into the militia. I'm not criticizing him, no one starts out knowing everything. But thought I'd leave a note since people are probably watching for tips on their own game play.

If you go to a house way back near the water, you can find a dwarf and two of his thugs hiding out in a house. If you choose to attack them obviously they'll die and you won't have them. Convince them to help out in the fight. (see next comment)

wynne is the female mage that helped out at the battle that quickly soured, you'll find her at the circle tower at lake calenhad

Don't know if you already have, but you might want to sell some of those stuff that you picked up when you fought those undead guys. Otherwise you will reach your backpack limit.
