  • When I feel waves of goosebumps up and down my arms, shoulders, and chest area, even my neck and face, synchronuously as I rise and sink, is this the manifestation of chi flow, or is this something else? Hsieh hsieh.

  • it works sir, this is exactly what i was looking for the basics of tai chi, allt hese other yout tube videos are like people showing off. This man is a great taichi teacher, and his students are lucky he is so patient. The lady scrunching her shoulders should use her hands to open up her shoulders and not her neck, that is why she is scrunching.

  • Wow an answer! Wasn't expecting that...cool! What does prenatal chi mean anyway? And I dont know where Edmonton is...I'm in Tucson Az where there is not much good tai chi that I can afford. Thats why I like the videos so much! Keep posting please, I'm learning a lot!

  • Prenatal energy is the life giving spark or life giving force originating from the creator. Postnatal life giving force comes from the food, water, air and sleep. you can learn the tai chi as posted up. Whoever seeks with sincerity the truth of life shall find within himself the eternal truth as one backtracks to the primordial origin. ultimate enlightenment is one and only. men seek It by many ways.

  • I have been able to feel chi since I was a child, I didn't know what chi was then of course, but I knew it felt great! I don't know taiji, but I can look at the form. I try to imitate the form, and the chi flow almost immediately starts moving, mostly to my hands. It makes me desire greatly to learn real taiji or bagua!!

  • Your prenatal chi is above the average. You're blessed with the special gift. By learning tai chi you will greatly enhance your good karma. If you're in Edmonton, you are welcomed to join our tai chi classes starting in September. please call 780-425-1754 or 428-2788 for enrollment. You can even learn from the you tube on the long long form we posted.

  • i feel tingling in my fingers.

first time i feel such reaction from tai chi or chi kung.

    excellent suggestion mister.

give us more similar things to practice.

this is real I repeat real exercise.

it has effect on body that you can feel.

    thats important.

  • Congratulation! You've at least experience the chi flow in the very first stage! Keep up the training, you'll reap more. Strengthening the chung chi is the basic foundation of nei chi. Through constant practice, one open all the meridians or chi pathways in the body. A true experience is better than tons of theoretical concepts!

  • @victorshim

You are right. The feeling of the chi flow is more evident in this basic form. I have practised Huang Shi Taiji for a good few years now and could feel the chi from my palms after practsing the movements. With this simple movement, I could feel the energy straight away and this basic movement happens to be the opening movement of the tai-chi form. I have practised countless times of the form but have never realised this until you showed it. How could I have missed it? GM,thanks.

  • @sandeorsandeor ,

You sound like a virgin boy who had first sex when discovering the tingling feelings in your fingers while performing this simple taichi movement. You can achieve that also by doing meditation, simply sit properly, relax your body, mind your breathing, then much regular practice later on, you will have "heightened sensation" through out the pores of your body, not only your finger tips :) Good luck.

  • You asked us to try this technique to see if it works. Thanks for the suggestion, feeling Chi for myself is better proof than watching a video by itself.

  • Self realization is the key to the eternal truth. 5 minutes of practice is better than tons of guesswork. A taste of the real chi is better experience.
