  • Bloody brilliant!! 5xxxxx

  • no no, Invader Zim sounds like the guy singing.

  • this is badass

  • OMG THIS IS SO ZIM AND GIR AS BACK UP VOCALS!!

  • Sucks trying to search for this band on Google without getting flagged by To Catch a Predator or something lol

  • no fucker sounds or does it like andy...he's one of the uniques

  • @artfx15 "the lead singer sounds like Zim taking up a musical career." strangely true...

  • This is good music. And this song will never get old. :-)

  • Deathrock and gothic rock are the same. American term for gothic rock is deathrock.

  • @joey4245 Nope. Deathrock was an American rip-off of Goth.

  • @fredsassy5 yea this is true goth music.

  • PERFECT!!!

Exactley what I needed to get my craved violin fill <3 <3 <3

  • wtf is this gothic shit

  • please watch "ANDI SEX GANG KAMIKAZE BEAUTY " very good

  • KMFDM is fucking awesome dude, and this band is ok i just hear from it in pandora so am cheking it out

  • Busca "El sombrio Secreto de la Felicidad" en google

  • real good audio zbyszeksen1, thx for this one.

btw me and my friends were called Fraggles those days.

    Maybe because of our hair-colour?

  • I don't know about other places, but in the US we called them "gothic kids". Or rather they called us "gothic". This is what gothic was. The newer stuff (late 80s, early 90s) would be more gothic/industrial if you want to be technical.

  • D: I love it! D:

  • this is some of the most intense music i've heard. its like tom waits inhaling helium while peaking on acid

  • Mainstream media has given a bad name to the gothic lifestyle which is often confused for those who indulge in black metal and deathmetal. For example the high school kids who did the shoot out in Columbine were said to be influenced by the gothic movement but, if one examines one crucial fact closely they listen to heavy metal and black metal which is not at all related to the goth subculture. Of course there is much more to it than just the music of course..

  • @DeadTed88 The Columbine shooters listened to KMFDM, which isn't goth, but is played all the time in "goth" clubs.

  • lol deathrock vs. goth... far as i can tell "deathrock" was just what they called it before someone came up with the term "goth"... for those that need to label things, you know. the folks that are making the music and/or embodying the style are not the ones that invented the labels. if you call YOURSELF deathrock, or goth, then chances are you are a poser. there will always be people who defy labeling, and always be people trying to find a label for them.

  • @jweb2nz How ignorant can you get,Goth started in England in the early 1980's,it was called goth from the start,

deathrock is some american shit that came later.

Do some research before you post.

  • @England5is5the5best Speaking of admonishing users to do research before posting, Deathrock started in 1979, which is, believe it or not, actually EARLIER than the 1980s- by the way, never use apostrophes for years. Also, rather than "the best" England's superlative is widely accepted to be "the gayest"

  • @IgnatiusSnow What a load of bollocks, you know nothing stupid AmeKKKican homophobic arsehole.

  • @England5is5the5best

    YouTube Comments = SERIOUS BUSINESS

  • @IgnatiusSnow

    Amerikkkan cunt talks = RUBBISH

  • @England5is5the5best

    A) Comparing someone to the Klan simply because they are American shows you are an ignorant little man. B) The fact that you used "bollocks", "arsehole", and homophobia in one sentence proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have deep-seated self-hating homosexual tendencies. C) Let's keep comments relative to source material, rather than your inane ad hominem attacks, which I will not respond to further. D) India's Tata Motors owns Jaguar and Land Rover. Pip-pip, mate

  • @England5is5the5best

As I said, I will no longer reply to your virulently nationalistic extremist attacks on other people and their cultures. This is because I will always top you. Much like America versus England, I will always win.

  • @IgnatiusSnow OK,faggot

  • @England5is5the5best Seriously, you're giving England a bad name. You're incredibly stupid and your grammar is terrible. Please leave the England versus America arguments to the literate in future.

  • @InterferingDyke I have a real dick, not a plastic one,you ugly bitch,Hitler had the right idea about filth like you.

  • @England5is5the5best There is very little point in arguing with an idiot when this is a place for discussing good music, so I am going to end this discussion with three points:

One, this is not a rebuttle. This is you changing the subject because you can't think of a sufficient point to challenge mine.

Two, Godwin's law knows no exceptions.

Three, I can satisfy a woman with mine. Can you?

  • @InterferingDyke You disgusting paedophile pervert rapist freak,I'd gut you with a knife if i got hold of you.

  • @England5is5the5best You really are giving England a bad name here. Goth did start in 1978 - 9 with Bauhaus and Joy Division and Siouxsie's move towards more dark outlook.

Also pure slating of someone for a different sexuality is a hate crime, so be careful. You had a fair point to start with, slightly out with the date but right that it evolved in the UK with Throbbing Gristle and Jim Foetus and taken to popularity with the bands I mentioned before.

  • @rorschac0112 Be careful?......fuck you nonce lover, come get me if you don't like what i say.

  • @England5is5the5best Actually I was warning you about breaking the law and how serious now our authorities take it.

However you really are the sad homophobic individual I did think you were. Probably racist and sexist too. So I will leave you to your sad little life listening to music that lyrically detests everything you stand.

Oh and you think the internet is anonoymous???

  • @rorschac0112 There you go threatening me again.......fuck you, maybe i can find out where you live, arsehole.

Why don't you call the police on me,then i get to see what you look like,it will make it easier to find you later.

  • @England5is5the5best no not threatening, just warning.

  • @rorschac0112 Bring it on cunt....if you got the balls,or shut the fuck up.

  • Saw them at Cambridge Sea Cadet Hall - circa long time ago . . . .

  • Holy shit this guy's voice is fucking sick!

  • What version is this? I only have the guitarey version without out the violin.

  • i don't care what kind of music this is. i don't give a shit what kurt cobain was a fan of either.

  • i met andy sexgang the other week in brixton- pretty nice guy

  • gothrock forever!

  • lol i love this band. It's been recommended to me and I've never listened to it.

  • @intoxicatedlostsoul yeah it's goth, but the deathrockers listen too it. Deathrockers are punk and goth. :)

  • @LizzAnarchy stop giving out history lessons half you people are wrong goth comes straight from punk so does deathrock. Deathrock isn't goth two totaly different genres kind of like comparing horror punk to goth. Deathrockers arnt goth it's another form of punk. Forget about labels they're stupid the music should matter more than the label.

  • @birinbirinbirin so,I just got this account.. Um.. I really dont understand why you left this comment..

I dont even know who the original lizz anarchy is.

  • @birinbirinbirin Oh, and yeah I know where they are from, but the comment says its Goth, but deathrockers listen to it too. I dont know about the last bit there. but srsly stop being a troll. :)

  • @LizzAnarchy pffft deathrockers... they're just american goths, that's all. anyone care to disagree?

  • @AgentHomer 'Cept Deathrock came first.

Plus the sound is very different.

  • @jacobcyanide what is your deal, will you please leave me alone?

  • @LizzAnarchy Wait, what? Who are you xD

  • @jacobcyanide first deathrock record: only theatre of pain 1982, first gothic rock reckord: in the flat field 1980.

yeah the sound is very different, but I wasn't talking about the genre, I was talking about the people.

  • @AgentHomer oh, and the flesh eaters don't really count.

  • Hm, yeah. I think I like it.

  • genial

  • it is goth.

  • I want to marry this song

  • beautiful goth music

  • @PinoyDotCom i guess is more Post-Punk

  • @Cybergoath dude i think this band is goth

  • Sebastiane Bite the face of piety, kiss your mother's broken spirit There is nothing not even shame Just the stench from the room full of social animals Caught again jezebel, with your 'friend' and his beauty bible He once walked through sacred lands Now he waves his nazi dagger Sebastiane Wish you well sebastiane With your smiling puritan youth And you feel, feel no pain As they cut through your bluey green vein

  • @Zombby89 for real? i seriously dont understand it. but it still sound fucking awesome though

  • @Zombby89 hahaha xDDD *rolls eyes*

  • Of all the goth bands from the batcave era, SGC are easily the most underrated... love Andi's unique vocals.

  • damn these guys are intense

  • Fucking awesome, totally underrated! viva la sex gang!

  • andy sex gang was unique, remember seeing them in the 80s, this was their stand out track but had a pretty good set, think it was the lyseum but my life has been blurred

  • I like the music, but I can't get over how the lead singer sounds like Zim taking up a musical career. XD They're voices are so much alike that I have trouble listening to the song because I'm laughing so much.

  • @artfxl5 hahahahahhaahhahhahahahahahahahahha thats fuckin funny he seriously does lol now im gunna have that stuck in my head and im going to laugh everytime i listen to them

  • @artfxl5

Lol holy shit I just noticed that, you're right xD

  • @artfxl5

    OH MY GOD.

Why would you do such a thing?

I didn't see it until now.

  • @artfxl5 whos zim?

  • @ignorethemachine1

invader ZIM look it up BEST CARTOON EVER!!!

  • ha ha me in 1985

  • And the word "grape" has "rape" in it, and i dont think grapes have anything in common with rape...

  • super genial simplemente genial !!!!!!!!!

    hermosa expresa mill sentimientos

  • Love this song!! ....Just hate their name.... "Sex gang children".... All kinds of perverted shit pops up when you seach them on the net...... Yuck! :-(

But they are ggrrreat...!! :) 5 stars for being unique...! :-)

  • this is no post punk... , it`s "only" honest, dark and GREAT independent

  • @Forestmountains1 ok i believe you!

  • ´no this is post punk!!

  • @WoodMaster90 Yes but post punk is a fusion genre that started the goth subculture. This here is goth rock it's also post punk as well.

  • that bassline kicks some serious ass!

  • Fuck the beat was insane.

  • ive been searching for his song for SO LONG

    ughh..gruesomely awesome i found it!

  • Yup. A large pioneer to Goth Rock.

Played in the Batcave, if I recall.

  • Not only did they play the Batcave, the ruled the Batcave.

  • this is "graft" music, kiddo. not your x-factor rubbish...

  • I love this sex gang children

  • I could hear the way he says "jezebel" for hours

  • the violins are hypnotic ^^

  • i won their double single album off ebay, woo woo!!!!!!!

  • ok... i can't find sex gang's cds anywhere

    fuck italy-

however, where can I download this? *_* i need it!

  • iTunes most likely. I cant find 80s goth anywhere and when ever you ask for it especially in hot topic (which is the most vile place in the world) you get weird looks haha.

  • Yeah, I always feel like a total douche when I have to go in there, which I only do because a lot of my idiot friends like to go on there and want birthday/X-mas gifts from there. Alas, I'm trying iTunes.

  • Yea I got some of their stuff off iTunes. Yea i feel like an idiot going it to alot of stores and asking for some old band on my shirt n their like who listens to that? haha oh well lol I feel you though haha

  • Yeah same. I pretty much just started getting into Gothic Rock, like a day or two ago, but I listen to a lot of less well-known bands, and foreign bands. Whenever I go into a record store and ask for a band they say they've never heard of them. If I'm very lucky, the album I want will be available for order from the store's website.

By the way, do you know any other good Goth bands? I want to explore the genre more.

  • If you like this, there's a good chance you'll like Ausgang as well. Check it out :-)

  • @Aamonath

You might want to check Skeletal Family and Faith And The Muse, if you haven't already done so.. Very good bands, both of them. :)

  • @PestBreed Faith & the Muse was just here in Minneapolis two nights ago. Sadly, because they were late arriving, then they let the openingbands run there full set, so we got, like, 5 songs. But they WERE AMAZING!

  • @Aamonath

try fields of the nephilim, bauhaus, sisters of mercy, christian death, siouxsie and the banshees

  • I only have 3 SGC songs as MP3

this one, Children's Prayer and Mauritia Mayer I could email it?? Email me on here and let me know

  • Ebay or Amazon.. You can find virtually ANYTHING on either of those two.

  • fact is andi [the singer] was the first to be called 'goth' [a goblin actually] in the early 80's by creating this mood in this music. Bauhaus and lots of others followed suit but 'sex gang children' were considered the original 'goth' band and sound by default. very unconventional / uncommercial / dark

  • its the wierd period of goth - that wasnt shite

  • exact...maybe too young to know about this period..it's pure goth!!

  • If this isn't Goth, Bob Marley isn't reggae

  • Who the fuck gives a shit about the genre...just enjoy the damn music!

  • @artemisiacc thank you.. to much trying to label it cause it can make some feel like they are soooo much better than others.. STFU and dance!

  • @artemisiacc fucking so true!

  • @artemisiacc You got the reason, just enjoy music, its really cool!!!!!!

  • @artemisiacc You're not the first youtuber who said that in a comment. And I have to point something out. Just because you an many other enjoy the aesthetics in music doesn't give you some elevated right to discard those who seek to understand it's developpement when aquirring taste. I know your comment is over a year old but I had to reply.

For the sake of AESTHETICS and TASTE.

  • @RudraNightmare I was in no way implying that I have an elevated right of opinion, but you could understand how it is highly annoying to see endless discussions on genre in the comment section for a nice video. Music is a wonderful thing, and it would be done justice to just be enjoyed, not be the subject of endless conflict.

  • @artemisiacc I guess I'll sympathize with you then. These kinds of conflicts can sometimes be annoying as hell. I was just pointing out these things for the people who give a damn. And Holy fuck This song is fucking awesome ! Cheers

  • @RudraNightmare Cheers to you, to good music :)

  • oh im sorry but this lot were a goth band saw them at the crypt in deptford it was called the bat cave

  • going on to urbandictionary or wikipedia like all the other dicks do but you have to look farther than this, this, this is just ignorance before you say it has nothing to do with goth rock listen to some ACTUAL gothic metal bands instead of that mainstream bs that uses the goth image as a money maker... and no im not a full on goth metal head for me deathrock above all else then goth and darkwave then a sweet 4th for gothic metal...

    Incoming hate messages ....NOW!

  • f gothic rock and add the heavier and sometimes the double bass of metal and add it to the elements of the lyrics that are like such that of gothic rock and make it there own. i guess if u want to be technical about it no because gothic metal is not a subgenre of gothic rock they have nothing to do with each other but from the stand point that gothic metal artists such as Macbeth and other actual note worthy gothic metal bands (Stormgarde) it does have something to do with it idk if you guys are

  • I thought the point of a subgenre such as gothic rock and gothic metal, even though gothic metal is not a subgenre of goth rock but that of metal (suprising), i beleive the points of subgenres is they take a major factor of a previous genre take gothic rock heavly was influenced of course by punk rock and post and then added its own elements...so has gothic metal and you all are thinking of the big popular symphonic metal bands im talkin the metal that takes heavy influence from the melancholy o

  • Just because a band takes influence from the melancholy doesn't make them goth.

You don't call every blues song about a broken heart or with melancholy themes "Gothic Blues".

  • thats becuase blues came before goth lol jus give it some more thought when the themes are a smidgen the same then maybe you can call it gothic metal other then that its symphonic metal or whatever you guys listen to lol

  • So your saying because alot of the "emo" bands of today have melancholy lyrics that makes them goth?

And there are contemporary blues artists.

A metal band with melancholy themes is Doom Metal, like HIM. There you go.

  • My God mon ami you took that one a little to serously when i say themes i mean themes and just because i mention one doesnt mean its the only one emo is is emo becuase it mixes certian things from gothic and alternative and punk so whoa it has something to do with goth when something like gothic metal say type o negative sings of some of the biggies of goth rock mostly christianity and vamps and they have a certian sound that they draw direct influence from certian gothic rock bands but add thei

  • r own things to it like lets say errrr metals more heavy sound to it in the end you get the heavily influenced from both side gothic metal therefore getting bak to what the orginal arguement was YES GOTHIC METAL HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH GOTHIC ROCK! when you pull it down to it it does and when you say it doesnt i need more solid reasons why other than a crude middle school baktalk think about this and dont be to stuborn before writing bak my friend think jus a little bit

  • Dude you should really look up the facts before you post stuff.

The term "Gothic Metal" comes from the Paradise Lost album "Gothic" which "Gothic Metal" bands sound like. However when Paradise Lost named their album "Gothic" it had nothing to do with the Goth subculture from which Gothic Rock came from.

So saying that Paradise Lost because they had an album called "Gothic" is like saying that The Cure is some sort of Pornographic music.

The same goes for all bands that emulate that album.

  • ah Andi

your distinct voice is like a roller coaster

  • its not so bad....i dont like goth music so much. just testing. i perfer deathmetal. any goth bands like deathmetal sounding?

    like BMTH?

  • Maybe you'd like Before The Dawn, Darkseed, Black Infinity and Dark Tranquillity? There melodic death/gothic metal. or try Draconian, there doom metal with a touch of goth. maybe Nightwish, there gothic but heavy

BMTH sounds kinda like black metal, so try Cadle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir.

search around and see what u like :)

  • Dude none of those bands. Are goth.

Goth isn't metal, and Gothic Metal (while this is confusing to some) actually doesn't have anything to do with goth. The only metal band close to goth is Paradise Lost.

  • I was thinking more lyric wise but still going with his theme of a metal-ish shound, ya know?

  • Ahh. I find ex metal heads always take well to Christian Death, particularly certain Only Theatre of Pain songs. Like for example Deathwish.

  • lol i was pretty sure gothic metal had something to do with goth rock lmao sarcasm if you didnt notice. Im pretty sure it has something to do with goth my friend. either that or you listening to some shit ass gothic metal bands man.

  • Hahahah no it doesn't. Infact most "gothic metal" bands are really just symphonic metal, like Nightwish for example.

Real goth came from punk, Post-punk to be specific, which is the anti-thesis of metal and there fore cannot ever blend with metal.

Paradise Lost is the only metal band anywhere close to Goth. If you want to know some real goth bands check out early batcavey london scene like Bauhaus, deathrock like Christian Death and 45 Grave and Gothic Rock like Sisters of Mercy.

  • if all your skeptiscm of the genre is blurred by the motherfucking bullshit bands that flow from the scene but when all you mention is lost para doesnt make it the only one there are handfuls of what i think should be called gothic metal instead of as you said before bands that are symphonic commonly mistaken as gothic metal like ooo a big one Within Temptation... and anythin can blend my friend i nvr knew of punk funk or funk punk or whatever nvr thought it would happen tho it did haha

  • *slams head in table* done i am done no more just... done. come on wat happened to other big ones like type o if u dont at least admit they have a big influence of gothic rock in their music idk what else to do with you all i am trying to say is that it does have something to do with it THIS DOES NOT MEAN I AM SAYING IT IS GOTH! i am saying it has something to do!!!! with gothic themes influences sound lyrics and so on so ehhhh ehhhhhhhhh ehhhhhhhhh y dont you think so i mean i could understand

  • eat a dick

  • Comment removed

  • Lol where you asked to come down here?

  • dude go fuck ur self with a fucking loaf of bread and let the rest us enjoy the god damn music

  • umm were u trying to diss me by saying slipknot maggot

  • lol no jus saying wats on ur page my friend be kind lol

  • bring me the horizon is actually deathcore. try looking that up on wikipedia or something. please try to avoid calling them death metal. it's sort of an insult.

  • oooh touchy

  • dark tranquility for sure man but its transcendental blackmetal hehe i have all of their stuff
