@stellalunac7 Part 2: They're in time with each other, their in tune with each other and they fit together in a way that makes sense. As for the singer he's not the god of vocalists and like many popular singers out there today that most people will admit are good he doesn't sound like he's been professionally trained. Maybe he is, I don't know. How ever he doesn't have a bad voice, actually it's pretty good and this has nothing to do with the autotune which is my next subject.
@stellalunac7 Part 3: Autotune can be used to make you sound better however the way it is being used here is to achieve a certain style which is to say that it would still sound good without it however the robotic almost 8-bit-ish feel that it brings enhances the music rather than making it simply in tune.
@stellalunac7 Part 4: Autotune has gotten a bad rap over the years because it has been used to correct rather than enhance in so many cases that we see. If you are out right autotuning something you're trying to enhance it while if you try to hide it then you clearly are using it to correct you're less than perfect singing. It's pretty clear they are using autotune so it's part of the song not because they need it.

"Enhance" as you say is a good description. It's definitely done here to achieve a style. I don't think most of the the people here commenting about it have any kind of music recording experience or have ever used Autotune themselves.

As for the singer he's not the god of vocalists and like many popular singers out there today that most people will admit are good he doesn't sound like he's been professionally trained. If you are out right autotuning something you're trying to enhance it while if you try to hide it then you clearly are using it to correct you're less than perfect singing. It's pretty clear they are using autotune so it's part of the song not because they need it.

"Enhance" as you say is a good description. It's definitely done here to achieve a style.
