How much was ur birth kit? If I recall the site said for the deluxe was like 38? Antibiotics for GBS?

yeah for gbs :( ...our kit was a custom one for our midwife and it was $100. which sucks because when i was looking online they were all around 30 so i wasn't expecting it, but oh well.

Our is custom too and I think its 60 bucks... Although I'm going to see if we can get that discounted, b/c alot of that stuff we already have..... and is still sterile never used or opened from our previous hospital birth. Cant hurt to ask and save a few bucks u know? 100 is CRAZY though!

Thanks to ur vid, I just called my Mom and asked her if she'd help me clean when I'm around 37 weeks. She said yes! Thank GOD

Ah the birth kit! Fun stuff!

A few other great things to have are a 'squirt bottle' to use warm water to clean yourself in the bathroom (since you don't wipe at first) and witch hazel pads that reduce swelling and feel great after a natural birth!
