Another very enjoyable arrangement my friend.Nice to hear organist who can play many eras /periods of music. Too many are fuddy duddies and can only play Bach and not able to expand their horizons. Keep up the good work. I have played all styles of music on the organ for many years. ( yes I was the church organist/concert guy too) Take care
Boy you have potential to play other things, that is not a contribution, have you ever hear about Bach, Cezar Franck. Any European hate Mozart pieces on the organ, but Strauss, no way. I don´t mind anyone to try anything, but at home. Think about it, I understand that you like far from the occident, be more conscious about your career. I never talk this with anyone, ok, hate me, but thing about.
Good stop selection as you had made this Allen organ sound great! I often have difficulties selecting organ stop sounds, but my favorite voices is the Tibia, ranging from 16' to 1' even range. I think Allen is really the best digital organ in the industry, major improvements since the early 1970's! I also love the new Allen Vista, a great synthesizer for today's new Allen organs!
@organperson Actually, thats incorrect. tibias originated from the theatre organ, which was an orchestral pipe organ featuring the tibia clausa which the electronic organ tibia is modeled after.
@organperson Completely incorrect. Research organ builder Robert Hope Jones, the inventor of the tibia clausa- a type of large scale stoppered wooden organ pipe.
I like your playing but get Hauptwerk if you haven't got a real pipe organ, some of the stops expecially the reeds on that Allen are very electronic in sound.
is he even playing this? recording doesnt really suit the look of the instrument and the fact that he is constantly changing registration without moving manuals or using pistons, doesnt even seem to be opening or closing the swell
these organs, if you dont know much, are fitted with stops that you preset, and you can push them with your feet, and not only with you hands!!! So you may not notice him reaching to the stops, he is changing them with his feet!!!

very good played! it's probably digital organ?
pio9210 11 months ago
@pio9210 Apparently it's an Allen, which pretty much means it's electronic.
Well played all the same. :)
