this is the best ps2 game that has eve been made i love it they should make a new 1 for ps3 something like spartan total warrior the revenge of an emporer or something
omg... i remember when that came first came out, i was like... I NEED IT!!! but then i beat it and it got kinda boring. but... it was still pretty fun
lol um because they faught like barbarians 60% of the time then just took over carthage and sparta with no problems at all? there only real battle was against the senate and even then it was a 2-1 ratio and they still won against the senate.
oh I forgot Alarick wasn't neither Roman or Spartan he was just a Barbarian. well still no matter who came after.the Spartans where recognized by everyone even the Romans to be the best warriors of all time
thats not true = warfare developes over time - and although dominant in greece @500B.C. they never conquered Greece suffering crushing defeats against The Thebans ( when @ there strongest ) . Alexander conquered Greece in 320 B.C with his Phalanx and heavy cavalry but within 40 years the balance of power was shifting to Rome - Read about Phyrus fighting the romans - warfare had evolved and the legions were far more flexible than the phalanx - legions developed further and peaked in 100 A.D.
well, its hard to say what it would have been like if Alexander hadn't died when he did. I think one possibily is that he probably would have raised a son to be his succesor. In other words, he would have had a stable throne that would outlast him. He probably would have conquered Rome. Towards the second century there would have been some sort of conflict between our hypothetical Greek empire and the Carthegenian Empire.
I think at that Rome wouldn't have been much of a challenge, at least not at the time of Alexander. If, however, Alexander would have faced the Roman Army of, say the 1st Century bc, then he would have definitely been defeated by the Romans. Carthage would have just at least as easy as Tyre (which is related to Carthage), assumming a) he could get there with sufficient resources, which is a stretch, and b) he wasn't facing someone like Hannibal, in which case, all bets are off.
If we are talking who won over whom then Alarick was the Greatest he destroyed Rome to Ashes, founded Spain and his lieutenant Wessex, founded the Royal Family of England. no matter who came after the Spartans still the best. of all time.
Cool video but strange that Creative Assembly's put the Romans as enemies the Romans never battle with Spartans when the Romans invade Greece the Spartans were allies of the Romans they shoul put inseat the Persians
yea thats true this game is fun until u beat the whole thing..then its just boring maybe if could use all ur upgrades at the beginning of the game..
