@DustmanYT sure i agree if your gonna do a cover. but i meant just overall. i use a pic with my band becuse i like the tone more. but i can play with my finers and slap. i love slap, but it just dosnt match the type of music i play. a good bassist will familerize themself with all styles. not that long ago i just started learing how to tap. even though im not that great at it yet xD

i think you can reproduce the same sound with a different setting on the ampli.. but now i play only with fingers, so i can't know surely

ajde da i hvata ima koje prave cover od maidena... inace imam band i sviramo samo maiden nesto metalice i jakoo malo ostalog!! al od maidena jedno 15-ak pjesama.. i gle ovu pejsmu istotako mozes svirati prstima kao sve ostale ... ja jusviram slicno kao fear of the dark.. tako da naglasim akord samo pri promjeni akorda... pokusaj mozda ce ti lakse biti.. inace svaka cast!! <3

haha well i just always could play with my fingers in any way, i dont practice a lot... i actually practice like 30 min a day, then i just learn some songs and play.... but its not that easy anymore, after 3 years you kind of hit a wall xD

i dont know what is the problem with the pick??!

a lot of bass players use pick: the one of artic monkeys, the bass player of good charlotte, the bass player of slipknot, the bass player of METALLICA USE PICK...

if u want to play fast use the pick or i u want to play 3 or 2 strings at same time is very useful...this guy, morbid, he didnt used pick in the video so all who says that he is using a pick shut up!

i believe that Jason played with a pick, but it suited his style more, if you compare whisky in the jar (Jason), and enter sandman (Cliff) yo'll hear that Jason is more, erm, rythmic, but Cliff is more, well lead bassist-ish? thats the only way i can put it.

Ever heard Iron Maiden done well with a pick? I do not think that it matters as long as you get a good tone. I play Maiden both ways, and there are definite advantages to both methods.
