Exactly 10 years ago, today you boarded that plane, remebering you Melanie, I will never forget....
And I will always remeber two things.
The first is your final message to the world: tomorrow is not promised...
The second is regarding the crash: you (in this case the pilots) can never ever take chances, especially if you are responsible for other people's lives...
when she said that she was gonna spent the holidays with her family that so touching its like when you watch a movie about someone who dies in the end and he says these words and you want to cry.this was another big loss she was talented and she was gonna have a great carrer.and it was so ironic that she talked about the 9 11 i dont know what to say RIP melanie at least ur christmas song have become the theme of xmas holidays

Tragic ! The accident was not necessary. The captain had a bad history, the copilot was to inexperienced and he had his former flight instructor by his site so he wouldn't say boo to a goose. The captain is the one to blame but he paid with his life. Nobody deserved to die that night. It was a tragic but avoidable accident I guess. RIP to all that passed away that night.

I was looking on You Tube for your Sweet Dreams video just yesterday and saw that today is the anniversary.Oddly, I live in Atlanta-actually Lawrenceville within a mile of the Melanie Thornton Youth Arts Foundation.Just like your statement "Tomorrow is not promised" the day before you passed was fate.I wonder if there is a calling to help your foundation.My prayers go to your family.

@SimboSays that was really weird.I remember this long interview also.She died Saturday evening and the album was released 38 hours later.I was a part timer at HMW .I hadn't seen so many people in tears.We had pictures of the albums and posters in the shop weeks before she died.
