why cant i see the back of this so called KINETIC art? i bet you cant cal it KINETIC then right?looks way to controlled annyway no vollition in it..ho must say esteticly it looks nice.
@MegaLol555 Haha, man fears time, time fears the Pyramids, the Pyramids fear Satisfactory?.....It was built to last, though just how long it will last is up to many factors known and \unknown, but I CAN guarantee that it will not last forever. Cheers, Brett.
@MegaLol555 Perpetual movement is an impossible thing, at least as far as Man knows today, I don't see how it would last longer than any spinning while that slowly comes to a halt, a few minutes? I think this one is electricaly powered, (see the cord).
@KwokWork Yes, like all of my sculptures it is driven by an electric motor (see description). I have no interest in "perpetual motion", I build kinetic sculptures. Cheers, Brett.
@cpckrock Hi Kelly. Unlike some of my more designed works, it kind of built itself. It just started with the idea of layering gears and cramming as much into the space as I could. So if there was a gap, I would just put in another gear or mechanism to fill it. This actually made it easier to build than most of my planned design works. Pleased you enjoyed it!
@thecalabiyaumanifold Hey, glad you enjoyed my art. I designed my gears on a CAD program, and get them laser cut by an engineering firm. Hope the information is helpful, and good luck with your projects! Cheers, Brett.
This is quite a labor of love. It's the work of a brilliant mind and the heart of a true artist. It's beautiful and captures the essence of perfect clockwork, like the clockwork of the Universe. W-O-W! Endless stars!
@MechanicalSculptor That's funny. First, he's saying "Oh My God this owns." I think he likes it too Second, I think your kinetic sculpture is amazing!! I went and checked out your other work on your channel. You are extremely talented and a true artist. I don't know the cost but I only wish I could afford some of your work. The piece where the frame breaks away and then retracts is just mind blowing. I could literally stare at your work all day.
@Soulrider2012 Thanks for the kind words and translation! Much appreciated for taking the time to check out some other works, really pleased that you enjoyed. Keep an eye out for some brand new pieces in the coming months. All the best, Brett.
Out of all the pieces, I like this one the best. It has a magnificent "busy" look to it. The piston, the pendulum, the orbital gears, and the variety of gear designs all working away is quite hypnotic! Are any of your pieces for sale?
Hi, Do you sell these on Ebay?????
