I received my iPhone 4s last wednesday after a long wait, just to find this same problem, but in my case it was more like a single bigger spot and not a lot of little spots like in your case, really frustrating specially because I don't live in the us but now II have to find an authorized reseller here in Colombia so maybe they can do something with the warranty and send it back to the US so Apple replace the iPhone or something, now I don't know how long the waiting is going to be, really frus
I have had 3 different iphone 4's with the same problem, apple has replaced them but each phone I get has the issue. First phone had two white spots second one two and this one has one. The most recent two phones are not even 2 month old. I am not happy and plan to keep bringing them back, not happy with my customer service, apple keeps saying they are not aware of the problem, at least at the 2 st louis stores
yeah those spots are from the backing of the actaul lcd which has few layers of different material and couple of the layers are sticking at the point where you see the spots. Usually even the slightest pressure at that point causes this or just something that develops over time.
I have the same thug. There are two. But they don't snow up well and only on a white screen. And apple said they aren't bad, so they won't replace it.
i spilled wine on mine and the dots appeared, water sensor triggered so i cant get a new one for free, youll probably have to replace the screen, if you found out a way to remove them post it please.. anyways, good luck :)

I only have two dots next to each other though but there 3 d ish apple says it a defect but they wernt therre be fore ?

I have a spot just like that on mine. It's just one single dot though, not a cluster like that. I also want to know what it is.
