  • Nevertheless wo shi huan ni.... Xie Xie ;-)

  • thanks for this, Now i know to use Chopsticks but i dont have any asian food to eat it with :(

  • You should look at the other videos on youtube about holding chopsticks. You are holding your chopsticks unlike most people. I'm not saying it is wrong, but it isn't the way most people hold them.

  • I think using chopsticks is easy, and I'm not even Asian. My parents taught me how to use them when I was eight or something.

I had some real difficulty teaching a Vietnamese girl how to use a fork and a knife properly (not like Americans).

  • Very informative video but some people just don't have the hand flexibility to learn what you do with those chopsticks quickly. You have more flexibility as a kid and you also learn faster so it just means your going to have to be more patient. This is definitely one of the better videos out there and I also think your kinda cute lol.

  • @MeLikeGtalv umm yes very. They are the most difficult languages in the world

  • Is it harc learning japanese or chinese?

  • u are no longer holding the first one like a pencil when u grab the second one u technigue is horrible and u dont even follow ur own directions and im starting to doubt ur even korean

  • This was helpful, thanks! I have japanese and chinese type of chopsticks, but what more kind of chopsticks are used? How they look like?

  • cute and helpful

  • i cant believe i am asian and i cant use it xDD its funny!! cuz i was born to use spoon and fork for about 22 years i guess, and my hands are getting wet i keep drying them with tissue it just.. u kno! slide slide!! my ring finger hurts now xD but ill keep practicing :D

  • umm my girlfriend is Korean and you aren't doing this right. You rest the bottom chopstick on the ring finger not your middle finger

  • Ghehe, i tried, but no vid helped me, so now i find this, and i now know how to use it O.o Normally i use me chopsticks to stick into meat and stuff, cause i am no good with it , but now i know how to handle it xd

  • hey.. i bought a new chopstick . teach me how to use.... +918147562923

  • Oh! One question, though. :) I've also seen chopsticks used when the bottom chopstick is held between the thumb and ring finger, while the top chopstick is held between the index and middle finger. Is this accurate? Or maybe it was a Japanese style of chopstick use. I'm not sure, haha, I feel so uninformed. :P

  • yes, very helpful, thanks. :)

  • for u it is easy,,,,am still trying to learn how to use it..........

its killing me ahhhhhhhhhhhh,,,,,,,,but am still trying...thx for ur help...and wish me luck

  • i don't get why koreans have flat metal chopsticks. and the ones they have in restaurants are big and heavy too. it hurts to eat sometimes.

    God Bless!

  • ur so cute and helpful!

  • Youre amazing.

  • Hi, just wanna know if the chopsticks are Korean chopsticks. I've seen those in Korean restaurants... made of metal and flat... And they were quite heavy as well when it comes to handling it.

  • yep, korean household has korean chopsticks.

    what do ya know ;)

  • This is the 10th vid I watched on chopstick instruction and the 1st one that worked! Cute girl helps too.

  • thanks for the video! I always see asian people holding them differently than I do, but I can use them really well in they way I hold them -- I think I learned the American way of holding haha. I learned that my middle finger goes in between them to hold them separate, but I never see others doing that. You're really pretty by the way =)

  • Thank you. You learn something new everyday.

  • you don't know how to use it!.....吾人子弟

  • I'm frikkin hungry, and my hand is cramping up.

  • im not asian but the first time i held chopsticks a friend showed me and ever since i knew how... got by this video on accident actually but im glad i did... your beautiful ;)

  • o thank you :] glad you commented!

  • the first time i tried this i broke my chopsticks the second time it just flew idk how and the third time i made it

    thanks

  • Hey, when I try to pick food up, My top chopstick always curves to the right of my bottom chopstick, causing mu food to spin and hit the floor. Help please?

  • yea that happens, try to seperate them with your free hand then grip the chopsticks while doing so, you'll have just test how it feels

  • @randapandapa I'm encountering the same problem, but I'm a totally newbie at using chopsticks...it's ridiculous cause I'm left handed and apparently you're meant to use them with your right hand kinda like when attending a posh restaurant whereby you're supposed to grip your utensil with you're left hand, not a problem in my stead, but learning to use chopstick with my right hand GOD FRUSTATION, spinning orange segments and clamp fingers NOT GIVING UP, i'll practice all night if I have too :D

  • i should definitely give this great tutorial to one of my good mates! how can he be an asian and not be able to use chop sticks! lol great video!

    Jay

  • this video is just so good...i have to get some chop sticks to learn it with your help...it seems so easy!

  • o thank you! make sure they're asian approved chopsticks! jkjk

  • you're welcome ;)

this won't be problem..asians shops are all around here =)

  • That was so sweet.

I use chopsticks, but I don't hold them the way you're supposed to. It works for me though! Still, I watched this carefully and I'm gonna try to do it this way next time.

    P.S. You're really pretty.

  • lol whatever gets food in your mouth i guess.

thank you :) so very sweet

  • Amazing!!!!!! I guess I've been using them right it's just a matter of practice? I dunno I'll keep trying =P

    <3 =]

  • hehe i have no idea....see i've always known how to use chopsticks, it feels natural.

but keep trying to pick things up with two sticks!

  • I am so going to get some chopsticks and then come back and re-watch this video. OMG I love you.

    Stay Cute!

  • yay :) I love you too
