You should look at the other videos on youtube about holding chopsticks. You are holding your chopsticks unlike most people. I'm not saying it is wrong, but it isn't the way most people hold them.
Very informative video but some people just don't have the hand flexibility to learn what you do with those chopsticks quickly. You have more flexibility as a kid and you also learn faster so it just means your going to have to be more patient. This is definitely one of the better videos out there and I also think your kinda cute lol.
u are no longer holding the first one like a pencil when u grab the second one u technigue is horrible and u dont even follow ur own directions and im starting to doubt ur even korean
i cant believe i am asian and i cant use it xDD its funny!! cuz i was born to use spoon and fork for about 22 years i guess, and my hands are getting wet i keep drying them with tissue it just.. u kno! slide slide!! my ring finger hurts now xD but ill keep practicing :D
Ghehe, i tried, but no vid helped me, so now i find this, and i now know how to use it O.o Normally i use me chopsticks to stick into meat and stuff, cause i am no good with it , but now i know how to handle it xd
Oh! One question, though. :) I've also seen chopsticks used when the bottom chopstick is held between the thumb and ring finger, while the top chopstick is held between the index and middle finger. Is this accurate? Or maybe it was a Japanese style of chopstick use. I'm not sure, haha, I feel so uninformed. :P
OMG I saw a lot of videos before i stumbled upon yours and let me tell you that YOURS was the one that helped me, I learned how to use them right away! Thank you!!! <3
Hi, just wanna know if the chopsticks are Korean chopsticks. I've seen those in Korean restaurants... made of metal and flat... And they were quite heavy as well when it comes to handling it.
thanks for the video! I always see asian people holding them differently than I do, but I can use them really well in they way I hold them -- I think I learned the American way of holding haha. I learned that my middle finger goes in between them to hold them separate, but I never see others doing that. You're really pretty by the way =)
im not asian but the first time i held chopsticks a friend showed me and ever since i knew how... got by this video on accident actually but im glad i did... your beautiful ;)
Hey, when I try to pick food up, My top chopstick always curves to the right of my bottom chopstick, causing mu food to spin and hit the floor. Help please?
@randapandapa I'm encountering the same problem, but I'm a totally newbie at using chopsticks...it's ridiculous cause I'm left handed and apparently you're meant to use them with your right hand kinda like when attending a posh restaurant whereby you're supposed to grip your utensil with you're left hand, not a problem in my stead, but learning to use chopstick with my right hand GOD FRUSTATION, spinning orange segments and clamp fingers NOT GIVING UP, i'll practice all night if I have too :D
I use chopsticks, but I don't hold them the way you're supposed to. It works for me though! Still, I watched this carefully and I'm gonna try to do it this way next time.
Nevertheless wo shi huan ni.... Xie Xie ;-)

I think using chopsticks is easy, and I'm not even Asian. My parents taught me how to use them when I was eight or something.
I had some real difficulty teaching a Vietnamese girl how to use a fork and a knife properly (not like Americans).

yea that happens, try to seperate them with your free hand then grip the chopsticks while doing so, you'll have just test how it feels
