  • It is definitely extemely tight under there...especially depending on what kind of headers you have. I have shorty headers going straight into a Y-pipe (two 2.5" going into a 3")...then right at the end of the Y-Pipe it goes into the 3" Cut-Out. Then three inch all the way back.

  • hey man i have an 1984 camaro z28 and was wondering how you put your cutouts on because im getting some realy soon. I want to install them were my y pipe is. now my headers look like they are too short to even come close to bolting the cutout on. what should i do? if i buy the cutout will it fit as soon as I get get shiped? or should i get new headers first?

  • love those turbo iroc hoods

  • very clean car did you restore it your self

  • dude get a grant steering wheel lol

  • What headers are you running?

  • 91 Steering lookz pretty lame no Lie id choose a junk yard 87 Steering wheel

  • KING OF THE TRAILER PARK

  • @v8americanpower1 you crazy nigga you crazy

    das a clean ROC

  • so nice

  • you bastard...your's is a standard mine is a auto.... lol

  • hey dude plug in your oil sensor and your tac will work

  • thanks! it's an autometer

  • Nice ride! I have a black 87 myself, what kind of spedometer is that?

  • that hood looks so mullet

  • I need a hood like that, I dont wanna get rid of the IROC hood but i need a cowl cause the air filter hits the hood

  • what size of cam do you have in there?

  • haha...yeah it blew out last year. Replaced with an Aurburn posi unit with 3.73's...so much metter! The exhaust is a 3" flowmaster with the cutout right underneath the passenger floorboard. Thanks for the comments man!

  • hey i own a 85 iroc with a built 355 and i was wondering have you ever had any problems with your stock differential? and how much did that exhaust cost you? sounds amazing and looks great

  • like it=)

  • Crazy Train!

  • Does it have headers?

  • @87irocz350TPI idk who in there right mind would take a 350 chevy bore it.030 over into a 355, and have the stock manifold on it.

  • @sideshow45 Yeah, i thought something was odd about that....haha

  • It would be nice if you showed it with it regular" while driving then open the cutouts and let her rip that be bad ass!! :D

  • Ok... So I own an 85 Iroc and they don't have airbags in the steering wheel. Is it not an 85? Why would you put an airbag wheel on a car with no airbag wiring?? just curious.

  • haha...I liked the 1991 steering wheel better. The door panels and steering wheel are from a 1991. and the spoiler is from a 1987...I figured I would put it all back together exactly the way I wanted it to be.

  • I used black brake Caliper paint on the rims of my 86 IROC-Z to match the car and to repel against heat and brake dust. It turned out to a clean semi-gloss finish. What kind of paint did u use to get such a glossy finish?

  • Comment removed

  • btw the hood looks great how you filled the vents i wonder if the original iroc hood could be rasied up in the back of it so it would fit with a taller engine???

  • nice ass iroc-z the wheels look great i cant decide to do the original gunmetal grey or black to redo my iroc-z wheels on my ultra blue 87 iroc. sweet camaro though.

  • what size engine is it, is it a 350?

  • it is built to a 355. I would estimate about 330hp at the wheels...

  • please do a before and after on the exhaust..PLEASE n a visual of how the pipes are done PLEEEASE!!!!!!

  • Love this!

Iroc-Z versions of 80`s camaros are my favourites!

  • what hood is that! i have never seen one

  • It was originally the "Turbo Iroc-Z Hood". But I didn't like the vent holes that came in the sides of the scoop, so I filled the holes and made it solid on the sides of the scoop...

  • @trirocz

I have the same hood, they called it a Datona 500 though Why they come up with different names about the same hood we may never know lol

  • @OKieMusician LOL, funny I have the same hood too, someone too told me Daytona hood, but also was told it was called Excaliber hood by this other guy who had one, then Turbo Daytona hood/Turbo hood its like what is it really? I think ur right on name, either way sweet hood!

  • haha. Yeah, It's a medium build 355 and I put a T56 Six speed tranny out of a newer Camaro in it.

  • new stearing wheel too

  • Awsome Iroc man, I myself have a 91' RS, its stock cept for Magnaflow y-pipe, got the 305, teal, t-top, premium wheels, the works, i love it, and the T-tops are actually a LOT easier to live with than people give them credit for

Ive been lookin into an 85' Iroc myself, black with red accent and red interior (amazing combo), i gotta ask, is your car a 305 or 350? Stock the 85's never came with anything bigger than a 305 but yours sounds too good to be true in that case, LOL

  • thanks

  • not to sound dumb were can u get cutoff valve at

  • you can get them at summit racing online, jegs performance, and any performance parts website or store

  • i have a 87..am thinking of fixing it...its been parked about a year now...

nice car looks like a beast!!! cant fuck with the i-rocs

  • my 3rd gen is black also i swear black is the best color for these cars when u turn just the parking lights on it's looks fucking mean long live third gens

  • hey nice camaro! want kinda black paint you put on it?

  • It is a Jet Black paint with 3 coats of clear. Thanks man!

  • hey im thinkin bout getn a cutout for my 87 Iroc and would i just need 1 since i have a y-pipe?

  • Yeah, you can either do like I did and put it right where they Y singles into one, or you can put one off of each header, but there are A LOT more clearance issues when you do that...and it is double the money.

  • nice bro, i have an 86 :)

  • Rare car! Keep it!

  • Your speedo doesn't work.

  • i like it but it would look a lot better with the stock hood

  • how hard was it to put that spedomettet in the dash. The stock one drives me nut, I mean really your in a camaro your going to go faster than 85

  • Buy a 5 inch speedo. Remove your original. Remove clear plastic (or cut out the part you will not be needing anymore). Cut the back out of the plastic cluster holder where the gauge will be going (where the speedo cable comes through). Then take the black plastic trim piece that covers all of it and trim the edge to fit the gauge ( i used a dremmel and did it a little bit at a time so it fit tight). It's not that bad. Calibrating it is the worst part!

  • Just get the guages from a 1986, they have the 145 mph speedometer. :D

  • crazy train oh ya

  • thats sexy! can i ride in it?

  • I HEAR "CRAZY TRAIN!!!" Go Ozz

  • what did u do with the 91

  • It's just the shell now. I took the motor out of it and put it into this 85 along with the 6 speed. The 91 is sittin in my yard, just a shell. I need to do somethin with it.

  • u can always make a drag car out of it or a pro street

  • nice iroc-z

  • love those turbo hoods

  • Yeah, I took the steering wheel and door panels from my 91 Z28. I liked the steering wheel better and the door panels were in better shape than my originals. That guy needs to make sure he knows his shit better before he starts talkin like that.

  • any internal mods cam ect...?

  • Yeah, the motor is a 4 bolt main small block bored .30 over, decent size comp cam, ported and polished the heads, roller rockers, 52mm throttle body, 25 lb/hr injectors, hedman shorty headers, hypertech chip, accel distributor parts, k&n filters, and the six speed tranny with a centerforce flywheel and the Spec stage II clutch.

  • nice post some more action please -_-

  • is this your daily driver gas prices you must be rich? 0_o

  • thats what i was saying the only thing that seems out of place is the airbag steering wheel

  • What makes you think its not an iroc besides the 90-92 wheel its got the correct dash and looks like everything else except the speedo

  • i know this aint a tru iroc z but its a nice clone. i would love to have this camaro rs but 4real its not an iroc z....

  • haha that's funny...It is 100% a REAL Iroc-z. What would even make you think it's not?

  • its a true iroc-z
