  • Lets all calm down now and stop teh ALL CAPS RAGE!!! us guys that brought it did get a hat after all, and f2p can't trade... so they're basicaly screwed anyways.

  • IM GETTING TOTURED EVERY DAY NOW!!! Everybody else is getiing the PC version of Tf2 but i cant get cause i dont have the fucking requirments D;

  • @tacoslurpee12345 How can you not have the requierments for tf2? Like seriously it can run on an 8 year old pc do you play on a potato?

  • @theElectr0ne it just says i dont have the requiments. Or maybe my computer is just to slow :/

  • @tacoslurpee12345 You're using a laptop aren't you?

  • @oopsIdidasuper no not yet but soon i will. (hopefully) :/

  • this f2p thing is good just because are many dumb newbies and i own them:)

  • @NarutoShippuuden921 In other news,in the future they will apparently get better at the game and maybe pwn you.

    Just because they're new doesnt mean in the future they will still suck.

  • @XTGNecro they wont pwn me....maybe other players but me as engineer would say:"naaaah"

  • Sure, Valve may update VAC and all that, but if all that requries is a hacker to make a new Steam account and download a free game, what good will it do?

  • @Requisition Then they'll just update VAC to support machine-based bans and prevent people from creating new accounts.

  • @tapo How would they do that exactly?

  • @Requisition A hidden file, IP address, MAC address (Media Access Control, your ethernet card ID), hard drive serial, etc. There are plenty of ways to uniquely identify a machine. If your question was "how do they update VAC" they do it silently through Steam and kick if the latest version isn't detected.

  • @tapo It's not that simple... the only way is by IP. Even then, hackers would just get new ones and make more accounts...

  • @MrAnonlmous What do you mean "the only way is by IP"? Every modern piece of software that needs to uniquely identify an individual machine does so through multiple fingerprinting methods, since IP addresses are dynamic by nature. Steam and VAC can be updated to do this, if they haven't done so already (they probably have due to Steam Guard support). There's no technological barrier here.

  • FREKEN FINALLY TF2 IS FTP....ALL MY FRIENDS CAN PLAY WIT ME AND HAVE FUN :)

  • @InfamouzTutorials What's your steam id? :) i'd like to play tf2 with you some time.
