The thermometer shows you how much free space you have to build objects. If its full you cant build anymore.

Well for this one you had to answer a question i guess on some websites that were giving away codes. As for like the socom beta you could have got it pre ordering the game at gamestop.

I believe it usually involves signing up at a particular site and maybe answering a few questions. You receive a code which you enter under 'account management' on your Ps3.

No... first of all, he probably filled up the level, and second, it could be a small-size level.

I've watched people play this and the gauge fills up extremely slowly.
