Thanx christiano1 another smokin' Winter cut I haven't heard. Check out Johnny doin' Let Me In. great cd from the early 90's. write soon, Huichol53....
so agree!!!! forget the Surrey set!!!! posh boys including Beck and Page with no clue of blues or even with an ounce of feeling or the ability to 'whip it up;'
Johnny Winter is the real deal; and pray tell me why do so many forget the contribution to rock n roll by the great Alvin Lee; that guy must have listened to piles of 78s to rev his act up and get it together!!! Page , Clapton and Beck; ive listened to all their offerings, and they dont cut the mustard;musiciansl hell lacking honesty'
Clapton is not god, he isn't even on the same page as Johnny is. this dude is the very best fuckin thing produced on American soil. Rock, blues, ballads, Johnny does it all and wipes the floor with any 1 of the big names out there. Mother fucking albino power, this guy is Jesus, Budha, and God rolled into 1. An Albino that can sings the blues, what a concept. This Johnny at his finest ! I pray to him very night thanking him for making really fantastic music.
Johnny had a song with lyrics that went something like "...so sorry daddy, I'm puttin' out the same thing that you is..." NAME THAT SONG!!!??? Thought it was off his Nothing But the Blues album but don't recognize it.
Thanks for posting this rare recording, I keep discovering new gems by JW on Youtube. You made my day.

This must have been just before Floyd Radford joined the band. This Brockie guy isn't very impressive. Johnny's playing is topnotch as always.
