Also on the left and upper you want to put them as far towards the center track as you can, 2/3 of the left hand blockers can't reach the main track. Wasted.

I feel like Im missing something in this game. I did the 20 Awakening maps, the 4 borderland maps, and the 2 Chaos maps.. is that all there is? Did I miss something? Im not interested in the map packs. Guess I do the challenges now?

Great videos. I did just fine on all of the maps (my strategy was, i humbly dare say, better than yours on last stand with the aliens looping on a lot of the double paths)... but lockdown was REALLY difficult for me. your tip on that crucial 2nd missle tower placement really helped.

as for the high scores... cheat, basically.

Here's a question, for Silver or anyone: how do people manage those bizarrely high scores on the leaderboards? I mean, I think the high score on this one was something like 80 *million* ... how is that even possible? Do they juggle a Seeker for hours, or something?

This was the only difficult stage for me, it was a bit annoying to figure out what path I wanted to make the enemies to take, but thanks to the starting strategy of this, I was able to do the rest with ease. Thanks!

yeah dude i agree. The game was meant to be figured out, not for you to watch someone else do it. I always try and beat every mission first, then if i cant get gold or what not, i go and seek advice or a new way.

its all about creating routes, nice. thats one thing i realy like about this game.

the main mistake i made with my play through was not useing gun turrents as much as i shud, they are good once you upgrade them, i had an obsession with the cannon turrent so hardly used gun turrent for most of the maps (silly me)

It was really hard but in the end I managed to win. I shaped a long path and put level 3 lasers at the start. The rest was normal stuff. Remember guys, LASERS BURN THEM FOR EVER UNTIL THEY DIE OR ESCAPE

Not if you trow in a meteor tower. The meteor tower tears apart the shield, the lazers easily destroy the mobs.

The game takes the sell value of your towers at the end and adds them to your score, so I don't think selling them manually would improve upon anything (maybe this was added in a patch, I'm not sure)

It doesn't matter. I already figured it out. They added a dumbass patch where for the enemies to START to come, you have to place a tower, so SilverMagics' strategies won't really work (except for the first one and a few others, but... you get the point).

Grats on not losing any cores, but the score seems a bit weak. This is such a huge map, I would suggest using some longer range towers (cannon and meteor work well). In the early levels your gun towers have a lot of down time, so you have to spend more money on them - remember, the more you can save and the earlier you can save it, the more interest you get, and the higher the resulting score (enabling you to get your gold medal).

Trying to do this on grinder. Using the same basic setup as this with a few more cannons and temporals I get to wave 99 before losing 4 cores.
