Oh my Jen! I have no idea why the need for a pain blocker, I think I need to catch up on a vid or two. Not that I want to sway anyone's thoughts into discomfort mode, least of all you.. but I am a HUGE sissy-la-la when it comes to thinking or feeling I can't swallow. Something as simple as the numbing agent a dentist uses freaks me out! My mom had a dystrophy of sorts where she needed pain blockers too. I feel for you hun, doesn't seem very pleasant to say the least. :( I hope all is well?
Drugs. Something that will make you drowsy. It does not have to be illegal. It could be prescription.
