i feel the critics don't separate mains from secondaries. Skills are beyond question. On ecould argue that the piano playing isn't anything special. It is decent.

The voice is striking! You can disagree on style and choice of song. You can't argue that there is some special potential there. I'd simply pass on the piano and make sure you develop that voice. Way to go!

I personally don't put songs in 'boxes': I think the interpretation was convincing (apart from the .... ooooooooooohoooh bit!)
