@tharsiskym I never really thought that. I think CJ's voice was a lot smoother and more "technical" that Johnny's. Johnny's got a lot more of a scream/power. FWIW Hot Cherie wasn't written by Hardline, they covered it from someone else.......I think it was Streetheart (NOT Steelheart) wrote it.

Great stuff way back in the 90's. Wish I could relive these years when bands are playing good pure hard songs with great vocals, guitar works, hard good drumming and well, good bass player around. Not forgetting 80's and the 70's.

This was actually 1992....after Bad English when Journey was on a "forced break" while waiting for Steve Perry to decide whether or not he wanted to be a rock and roll star. Somewhat of a side project maybe but when I saw them in St. Louis, Neal commented on possibly staying put with Hardline.....guess it didnt work out. LOL
