he studied with Heifetz....and I sense vestiges of Heifetz in his playing. I wonder what Kogan would have done with this.

He's a unique artist but there is a very unsettling aspect of his playing not unlike that seen in Ivry Gitlis...

Wat ongelovelijk gaaf dat je deze cd op youtube hebt gezet. Is hij nog ergens te koop? Onlanks door er nog een wasrol op (eind 19e eeuw) waar de Conus broers samen op speelden. Google maar "julius Block cylinders". Groetjes uit NL!
