@annericelover I love the swamp thing movies and The TV series just came out 20 years ago. There good fun superhero movies right to 2 Tim Burton versions of Batman. I want to know what's your thoughts on the new Swamp Thing coming back to Theaters.
The comic was so much better it isn't even funny. The only reason that the movie was made was because of the success of the Alan Moore, which made the Swamp-Thing an elemental God, Defender of Nature but they ignored that and made the old Swamp Thing
agreed, I remember being filled with joy when "Trial" came out on dvd finally. No one ever beleived me until then that it had Daredevil in it as sort of a ninja-like dude. I may have to drag out some of those old hulk tv movies...
Yeah, an early wes craven outing, if you listen close it has some similar music cues to friday the 13th movies. It has the same music composer for this film as well. thanks for viewing. I have got to get this new youtube widescreen thing figured out as well as greenscreen, all in due time I guess?!?!haha
Hey man, great review and nice trivia there. Adrianne Barbeau is also noted for playing the voice of another DC Character; Selena Kyle/Catwoman in Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures.
Yeah another piece I forgot about was that the composer who did the music for the early friday the 13th films also did the music for this movie. If you listen close you can tell that he used some similar music cues in it. Thanks for viewing.
Harry Manfredini did do the music for the film. Another side note the guy who played Reggie in F13TH 5(little black kid)was in Return of Swamp Thing. Michael Uslan who was responsible for getting the "Dark" vision of Batman(plus all the rest that followed) made in 1989 also produced this film and its sequel. Sarah Douglas who played Ursa in Superman 1 & 2 was in the sequel too. Both films are underrated and the TV Series

yeah, it came out in the late 80's. personally i dont think it is good as the original, just a different story tone.

Yeah, but many that I know don't appreciate the trivia, they just see it as I'm a geek. I enjoy meeting other film buffs like yourself.
