@Sophomorechance I read that a few years ago (when I was ten or eleven). Probably a bit young to appreciate the main charatcer haha, so the first two were not my favorite books. But the third one. wow. The end was absolutely epic!
Exile *the sequel to Homeland* Is an AMAZING book too, and The Icewind dale trilogy. Have you read the A Song of Ice and Fire series? FANTASTIC books. Great job btw I got some more books to buy :)
@Amarksyhk i loved that one too! I've read the first five in the Drizzt series, really good books. I started reading a game of thrones but only got 3/4 through... I'm feeling like i need to give it a new chance though, because there are soo many people who have recommended it or said it was amazing ;)
Darren Shan is a pseudonym for Darren something :P I think the Darran Shan saga is pretty good even though some of the books are pretty weak compared to other books. And well, sometimes it was kinda childish. You should really read 'In the name of the wind' by Patrick Rothfuss, that book is beyond awesome! I really got sucked into the story. 'Assassin's apprentice' by Robin Hobb and The way of shadows by Brent weeks are also really good.
@dhoulmagus11 yeah, i agree. some of the books i recommended here are kind of childish. Can't help my love for the first Darren book through, it was pretty intense (even through i was 13 when i read it) ;) In the name of the wind is sitting in my kindle account, read and done. I'm loading for the second one right now :) Assassin's apprentice is awesome! And The Way of Shadows must rank as one of my al time favorite series :D
...i really have some better book recommendations to do, don't i...
@Zillamp3z thank you :) Hmm... Across the Nightingale Floor or Homeland I think. Homeland has a bit more action and things happening in it but you can really tell that it's the first part in a series, while the other one is a bit more mature... But they are both very good!
@shinykpop it's about a young man (i think he's 15) named Takeo living up in the mountains in a little village with his family. One day everybody are killed and as he runs away from the killers he is saved by the man Shigeru. Takeo gets to live in his house and there he discovers he has skills leaning towards the more.. well... in the area of assassination... ;) It's a really good book with interesting characters, love, lot's of intrigues, a well executed plot and a bit of a dark tone to it! :)

@VidsFromSweden btw, is homeland book 1 in a series or is it just a single book? Thanks
Zillamp3z 7 months ago
@Zillamp3z it is the first book in a series. There are at least twenty I think, but they are very good, so it's worth taking the time to read them ;)
