He's playng that two notes with his fourth and fifth finger, it's seems he's not playin' but he is :) Many great pianists playng like that :) You must watch carefully :)

The part is: A#4 - G#5 - F#5 - F#5 --- F5 - D#5 - F5 (in OCTAVES, it means that he had to play A#4 and A#5, or G#5 and G#6 at the same time). The sheet music says you have to play octaves, but it looks that Clayderman prefered playing simple notes, maybe because it's a difficult part.

So you're right, he's playing that three notes (F5 - D#5 - F#5), although he didn't play octaves.

And one thing I think about playback, when you play the piano, and you're sooo good you can't do piano playback, maybe yes, I don't know, but I'll never do that, it's awfull... So I wish you a Good luck :)

Yes, I would agree for certain songs (e.g. Fur Elise) but I think the high hat and the bass make certain songs more ... adds more texture, "cool" as in more effect. I don't exactly know how to explain it.
