yo aussie50 i find a hdtv magnavox but it wont cut on no power going thru it i think can u give me some pointers of wat to look for to fix problem

@thewooleelawoo I would be troubleshooting the power supply first, look for blown/bulging caps, and have a probe around with a multimeter to see if its putting out standby voltage or anything at all.

if it was used for what you say it might have the controls locked out, look up the manual and see if you hold down a couple of buttons or something while turning it on or if it has a control lock out feature

To bypass the front panel, a handy dandy universal remote does the trick.

some faults can be fixed, PSU faults are easy but main logic boards are a pain in the ass
