Fun fact: The only reason the Dalek is in this episode is because if the Daleks don't appear every single year- The BBC looses the rights to them and has to pay HUGE amounts of money to get them back.

That's why they're in every series.

This year they're not supposed to appear in any episode- but they probably will have a little bit like a flashback or something.

"Waters of Mars" is one of the best RTD episodes. It's so refreshing to see a character-driven episode like "Midnight" as opposed to his usual epic-monster-extravaganzas (*cough cough* "Jouney's End"). I can't wait till Christmas!

We did NOT see a return of Jenny but have heard rumors of it as well as Donna. In regards to the this episode, the Doctor is wearing his lovely blue suit. Although, in Journey's End, the metacrisis 'human' Doctor took the blue suit with him.

Also, the Doctor comments that 'water always win's. Because of the metacrisis with Donna, the 'human' Doctor had Donna's thoughts. He could have remembered from Turn Left that the Doctor had died in a flood, hence the Cloister Bell.

Or, (through some yet unseen technology, or maybe we did see it just not know what it was) The Master 'switched' with Lucy (or was Lucy shortly after arriving on Earth) that would be why he didn't regenerate, he couldn't, that's why faithful Lucy shot him. That's could be where his credentials/history came from, he stole Lucy's, I'm sure some modification of the chameleon could swap some innocent victim without them remembering. Am I making sense?

hmm thats a very good point but i reclon we've seen the last of lucy altho maybe The master used his ring to implant his memories and soul on it while he died then maybe lucy who was still drawn to him picked it up and maybe she grew insane? also we never find out how the master got to earth? maybe he hid away his tardis in a time lock? and then if his ring was taken to his tardis he could regrow his body?

Good point, what ever did happen to the masters tardis? He had to have had one to run away from the time war. Maybe, (don't shoot me) the master is gone for good too, though I certainly hope not. I'm sure, however, that the masters ring will play some kind of role in an upcoming episode.
