You, young Catholics are doing a fantastic job of these short episodes which are packed with messages of Catholic beliefs. These are like one punch knockouts in boxing. You are like children bringing up Daddy. Love it. God bless you and your mission.
@boobs1204 What makes you think that? God knows all, sees all, and created everything so what makes you think he doesn't think its wrong when you ignore the guy who decided your grandma should die?
@boobs1204 Why would you think that? God knows all, sees everything all the time, and created everything so what makes you think that the guy who decided that your grandma should die is going to not take it seriously when you ignore him all year long except 5 times?
Ok as long as u know u have faith in god and that u go every once in a while, why would it matter? I dont want to sound like im putting church down but i dont think that going to church every sunday means u have faith and love god what im saying is i dont think u should HAVE to go as ling as u know u believe
All the Catholic churches in Vietnam are nice, I really enjoyed the masses. It is totally different in the States, some people have busy bodies & run behind the priests too much. These busy bodied women tell the priests what to do. Their sermons are boring & not fruitfull. My Catholic Faith is scattered with their harsh judgemental sermons. They kicked several parishioners out of the church!!!!Don't blame their Catholic Faiths, blame their boring homilies!!!!!!
That is not true! You just might go to a boring church in the US. But you cannot say that ever catholic church in the US is more boring than every church in Vietnam... That's really stupid to say... =P
I go to Mass every Sunday of my life. I am not forced-it is a choice I make. Why do I chose to go? Because I love God-I don't go to enjoy it, or to have fun. Heck, I WOULD prefer to stay at home, or sleep or go out with friends-sitting, kneeling and standing for an hour while being silent isn't how I'd like to spend each morning. But I still go, because I love God.
Thank you for making these videos-It's good to see people brave enough to talk about these things. God bless.
If you are Catholic, you could go on Saturday evenings or become Jewish. Catholic has the option to just go on Saturdays than Sundays. I play the organ at 5 PM Saturday mass and then I can sleep in the next morning or go to Sunday evening mass.
When someone invites me to their house for dinner, they very rarely preach at me for an hour before we eat while making me alternatively sit, kneel, and stand up, over and over again. And if they did, I doubt I'd go back there for another meal...
The eternal perfect priest - Jesus Christ, offering Himself as the the sacrifice. The sacrifice of the perfect Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
Let's see...a omniscient deity lives for thirtysomething years as a human...suffers a painful death (although countless people have gone through much, much worse)...then ends up back in heaven to reign with the Father forever and ever.
If there's a sacrifice there, it's a pretty minor one.
"If there's a sacrifice there, it's a pretty minor one."
If thats your opinion of the degree of things when THE CREATOR gets to die to pay for the sins of HIS CREATED - so be it. That isnt what I was talking about anyways.
THE CREATOR dying for ALL HIS CREATED is not the same as A CREATED dying for ANOTHER CREATED(S). If you cant understand that - sorry.

Since this video was posted on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (which in 2008 was the 50th Anniversary of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity) I ask you all at Young Catholic to consider adopting the spirituality of SOLT for your future service to the Church. As an 11 year lay member, and current Regional Council rep, I am seeking to reach out to those laity who have a gift to share.
Well, the reason that I don't attend Catholic Mass is because of the beliefs entrenched in Catholicism. in the council of Trent, it was decided that superstition and religious dogma held equal status with scripture. Thus, because something was instituted for hundreds of years, it was accepted as God's instruction. Purgatory, Indulgences, prayer to Mary and the Saints. Ridiculous concepts accepted by people who value tradition over common reasoning skills.
That was a genius analogy.....and the sad tragedy is that there are many people who go to Holy Mass only on Christmas and Easter......if only they had an idea how much they are missing out by not having an intimate relationship with Jesus!
I always gotta go to fucking mass on sundays because of my parents -.- I GET FORCED TO GO TO CHURCH !! I'M NOT A FCKING CATOLIC !! OMFG I JUST WANNA KILL MY SELF OR FUCKING MOVE OUT OF MY HOUSE TO SKIP MY PARENTS -.-
Godbless you guys! I love your videos they are not only filled with beautiful messages but they are also entertaining! my husband and I are 25 yrs. old and we are very fervent in our faith just like you guys, keep it up! We need more people like you!
Answer. you don't. Obviously Jesus words, "this is my body" should be taken symbolically because it falls within a long list of symbolic statements Christ said: "I am the bread," (John 6:41), "I am the vine," (John 15:5), "I am the door," (John 10:7,9), "I am the good shepherd,"(John 10:11,12), "You are the world the salt, (Matthew 5:13), "You are the light of the world. I hope you will keep asking questions, because He is waiting for you to seek Him for He has already sought you "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you." I hope you will not become discouraged by this world, check out Matthew Kelly, Chris Padgett, Fr. Donald Calloway(wow, what a life!) Scott Hahn, Fr. Corapi, Tim Staples etc.

God is like your brain, you can't see Him until He is unveiled, you can't touch Him either, you can't really guess how big He is other than logically He is bigger than the
I'm downloading all the videos to send to my grandchildren. They study in Catholic schools and are good Catholic kids but I'm sure this will add another dimension to the way they relate to their faith.

i don't really think God takes attendance
that's a little unnecessary to demonstrate how strong you believe
as long as you just believe
i'm a catholic but i don't go to church much (maybe like 5 times a year) and i don't go during mass, cause i find it too loud with too many people

The Mass is not a "dinner" - the mass is a sacrifice. Know that first.
