OMG, haha, that's so funny. Monica from friends (Courtney Cox) Her husband in real life (David Arquette) kissed her fathers character in friends in the last scene :D
yes, i wish ihad parents to guide me, beacause when i was a naive young gay boy, a gay man tried to infect me with HIV...i protected myself, but the point is that many kids dont have the luck that i had and it makes me so sad to know that gay teens get aids because socially they are not protected
I agree with arquettefan.....we as parents should without a doubt, love our children, no matter what!! Parents like these are why I'm now a foster parent....who specializes in gays who've been put out...it's one way to keep them safe...but I wish I could just adopt them all....every child is beautiful....and a gift!!!!
Thank so much for uploadign this film. When I first saw it I was around 13 to 15 I was a very innocent gay teen back then and I had not even one gay friend now a days I do have looooots of gay friends and seeing this film now a days reminds me of the life that some of them lead, specially David Arquette's character he reminds me so much of a boyfriend I use to have.
Maybe they don't deserve something as harsh as that, but parents of gay children should love them unconditionally no matter what their beliefs are. ;D
Well they do. Throwing out a teenager is almost killing him, and many die, because of physical abuse, disease and drug abuse. Most of them have their entire life ruined, and who knows if they can ever rebuild their life. There are no legislations who protect these children. 40% of all homeless teenagers are LGBT that is around 1.5 million children in the US alone. And unlike many other homeless teenagers they are thrown out. And the LGBT community does so little about it.
its soooo sad. My sister is afried to come out to our 'rents because she thinks they'll throw her out. I think the most sad thing about it is that it doesnt have to happen if only ppl would just exsept their kids
@arquettefan GLBT is a sin.......... and it is so easy to hide under such an excuse because it is hard for anyone to understand that it is NORMAL; as in, it is a part of nature. The problem, is that it is something different and we all are scared of what we do not know, thus for a time we avoid it at any means necessary. While some parents "just" ignore the fact they ever had a child. I wonder what will they ignore next?
I'm sorry, but Lukas Haas cannot act.

I have this video, and not only is David Arquette in it, but so is the very, very talented Lucas Hass. Very upsetting ending.

the actor playing the man at the desk, I've seen him in a few films. I've just forgotten which ones.

He's also in Scrubs, as well, which took me several minutes of "Why do I recognise him?!" to remember

These heterosexual parents who throw out their children just because they are gay, or for any reason, deserve to be shot to death.
How can anyone do this to a teenager.

Well she can wait until she has a job and a place to live and then she can come out.
No one has to come out before they are financially independent.
Of course the hiding is just terrible.
Say hello to her in my name.
Cheers!
