I'm from NZ and I was there! I am a serious Cliff Burton obsessive and have been since I can remember. I'm 35 and have been a Metallica fan since I was a kid. I remember being 11 when Cliff died and my brother (who pretty much looked like Cliff at the time) completely losing it. Cliffs death inspired me to learn bass. when the so called bluesy section starts I usually cry when I'm listening to it in my house. When it kicked in at Vector I blubbed like a fucking baby, and I'm certainly no ashamed

@UPLIP12345678 trust me man they play very fucking loud. when i went to see them i would record some stuff and be screaming out loud i couldnt hear myself at all but when i watched the recordings over i could actually hear my voice( it sounded so bad) guess its just because a camera's mic picks up noise a lot easier

@manguy2000 - That would make it much less special. I'm having a fangasm right now because I'm a hardcore fan, and I know how big of a thing it is that this was played for the first time since 2007. I wish they could play it more often yes, but there should always be rare songs that we freak out at every time we see them on a setlist.

I've seen em do "Anesthesia", "To Live Is To Die" & part of "Suicide & Redemption".

Maybe one day Metallica will do "Escape"

Your way off. There are heaps more like My Friend of Misery, and majority of Load and Reload havn't been played live, Also the most of St.Anger has been. There are many covers on Garage Inc that don't get played either.
