@FotografIasi The 1.5tb is under warranty, it wil get replaced.
You don't need the old drive for the resilver; it can re-construct the data from the other two. If my droning voice doesn't send you to sleep, look for the videos on ZFS 1 and ZFS 2 and that'll show ZFS working on USB sticks, and I think it is ZFS 2 that shows each 4gig stick being upgraded to 8gig in turn.
I kept the old drive in the loop so that the system would change its designation; made it easier to replace.

so are you going to throw at the bin the 1.5 tb drive?
In the resilvering process do you need to have the old drive. What if the drive that needs a replacement is totally dead?

@FotografIasi You can still do the replacement. It builds the data from the other two. I just like to do it this way for safety.
