  • food is what we are, look closely in to the matter it not just something we eat

  • More:

there's a great eating scene in Diving Bell and the Butterfly involving lots of seafood

Vittorio de Sica has to have something good

Pasolini's Fromage (from ROGOPAG) is very good

a lot of scenes from The Cook, the Thief, his Wife, and her Lover

Ravenous has some nice scenes of people eating people

the beginning of the film Vidas secas has a great sequence where the dog catches a bird, and the wife is very grateful (they're starving)

  • This is pretty good. I can think of a lot of films and scenes that you didn't include, although that doesn't mean you should include them. Here's a rough list:

Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (any scene)

Alice and Wonderland (original version; The Walrus and the Carpenter)

Jan Svankmajer's "Food" and "Meat Love"

Pasolini's Salo has a vile couple of scenes involving the eating of feces

Godfather (the assassination scene at the restaurant, for one)

the great feast scene from Pan's Labyrinth

  • Loved it! Adorei!!!!

  • I love this video! Great selection of films (especially the hilarious bit from 'Temple of Doom") and you did a great job on it.

  • how about Eat Drink Man Woman; Anna Karenina (great scene of an endless table groaning with exotic looking dishes)

I always wonder how the food tastes to the actors; i think i read that Gene Wilder said the candy he had to show eating was made of plastic or something like that.

  • I would have loved to include a scene from Eat Drink Man Woman! Especially from the opening credits. Unfortunately, that was one of those movies that my limited technology didn't cooperate with. Thanks for the Anna Karenina tip!

  • You really got quite a few images in there, quite a wide spectrum, very impressive. It's fun naming the film they're from!

  • i love food films. thanks 4 downloading.

  • You're welcome! Glad you and others are enjoying it!

  • @littlered1216 i really lover this i was going to use it in my food training class but the pixelation isnt that good do you have one with better pixels
