There is also an interview on youtube in which Sebastien tells that he had the policemen in sight, and that he controlled the situation :P

@LilPrinceTom No it's not! Loeb knew what he was doing, that Gendarme was stupid crossing the road and the people were stupid getting closer to the road.

Loeb said in an interview later on that he did not intend to toy with the guy but he was taking the best trajectory moving it a bit to avoid the guy. He said (which is true) what can seem "luck" or "uncalculated" is in fact very accurately calculated.

Try rallying you will see that you will narrow your driving to a centimeter precision!

@LilPrinceTom Then the guy should not be crossing a rally road. It is strictly forbidden. If your brother is a rally driver then you know it is forbidden to cross the road and now safety regulations specify distances from the road.

So all in all Loeb did nothing wrong. Also, a gendarme getting killed won't be a big loss... Less bastards to man those speeding cameras! ;-D
