there's something awefully wrong about it. for a magic trick, you need a vanishing part( already done) and a reapperance... which you don't have. Your right, most people think it's in the other hand, and it is, in fact, in the other hand.

You should do this with a continuation, because else people will realize the coin is in the other hand. A way to make the coin completely disappear, could be with a deck of cards in which you can lose the coin. Some card tricks require only a few cards, so when you select those cards and take them out of the deck, you can lose the coin in the rest of the deck unnoticed and the spectators will be amazed to see both your palms while you do the card trick.
