I got one of these on my Core i7 920 Overclocked to 4.2GHz and even on torture tests it never gets above 72C... and it's quieter at Maximum than the Retail Intel cooler is at idle. Awesome!

BTW THEIR DESIGN IS STILL CRAP, AS MUCH AS COOLER MASTER AND THERMALTAKE

@SuperToother Yeah I had to laugh when he said that. Makes me wonder if he actually installed it at all. I have seen pics of it installed and the fan just claers ran without heatsinks. If the ram has heatsinks like ripjaws or vengence then no way it will clear. However, the 120mm fan can be mounted at the back so that it is pulling air instead of pushing. Not sure it it will cool the same, better or worse, would be good to see a review where they compare it as most people will have issues

Already have my 1090T BE ticking away nicely at 4.3 GHz, and might try for a little more later on.

Now my games are running incredibly fast.

So perhaps you don't really need a very large case to hold this beauty.

H70 can beat this noctua hard if you put some of those fancy & ridiculous extreme delta 120mm 250 cfm+ in the radiator, fan controlled ofc!:) or just put two 80- 100cfm`s 120mm... Note that the fans on the H70 does only have 60cfm when maxed out.

H70 does not take all your room in your case too:)

Looks like it's big enough even with its outer fan removed to prevent you from installing any fan on your RAM. I was considering either this or Thermalright's Ultra-120 extreme 366rt rev c. I don't know if the latter is any better clearance wise.

h70: easy to install and user friendly pretty good performance

this one: easy to install heavy but great performance much better than h70

@Ziggoi The reviews I've seen show the h70 and nh-d14 to be very similar in performance, and the h70 is 10-15 dollars more expensive. I know they say the h70 is zero maintenance but anything with liquid in it has a chance of leaking.

Dang that thing is BIG! But he did point in the wrong directions...the first fan on the radiator points towards the front of the case, so that might be an issue when installing it, cause since its so big, it might hit your memory.
