@travisfwebb86 ha, I'm right though. Techno is a form of electronic dance music that started in Detroit in the 80's. All these songs are mostly trance and house. If you want to be general say "electronic" not "techno." Techno is a specific and unique sub-genre of electronic music.

@TheCopper1234 Actually, dubstep is somewhere between drum and bass, techno, and pop, but at the same time, is not like any of them. Techno is somewhere around 120 bpm focused more on higher sounds, drum and bass is around 160 bpm and has more focus on the drum and bass aspect, whereas dubstep is 140 bpm and is focused even more on the bass and low electronic sounds, but anyway, it's all electronic type, if you don't like it, just ignore it. lol

As for the techno vs. dubstep I would always side with techno straight up. Might be because I'm against the new "scene" and all you wannabe ravers and clubbers see dubstep as something "cool". The teens are into this stuff and they are the same people who try to get uber fucked up and ruin the parties. Just pop a pill and dance all night to some techno. Dubstep is just meh... I'd rather listen to DJ Rankin than dubstep and that should be saying a LOT.
