This is BS. It's not that Apple notebooks suck, but they AREN'T better than

normal ones. First, it's clearly slower, second, it's waaaaaay to expensive for

a thin piece of shit they make for 40 USD (probably less), and it is NOT giant improvement.

MacBooks are greatest.

1., PCs with Windows on them freezes,fuxx ups ,got spam-virus-whatever-slows you down and hassle to work with them ..not even mentioning relyin on them ;)

2., PCs with Linux is something without software support.if it had as wide available software palette of course in quality as well then maybe could count on it...anyway just like sexdolls..few of them uses ;) pervs

@simysimy9: your seriously buying a Dell based on the fact that it's greener? And how does that affect you when your spending money on a mac next year when your Dell breaks? I had a Dell for a year and:

The screen broke

The left hinge broke

The two pieces that hold the pos together broke

Windows crashed not once, but three times

Etc etc

It's now a permanent charger for my apple iPod:)

If you want to game and need windows, just install it with bootcamp. Windows actually runs better on a mac since the hardware is so streamlined.

hardware is all the same practically. Everything is made in the same factory, if not the factory right next door. Besides, you can't buy anything super high-end from apple that's not over 3500 dollars. If you spend that much on a computer than you have to be crazy.

@simysimy9 you forget at one time Windows based computers were the same or more expensive than Macs. if Microsoft and companies like Dell and HP didn't allow third party developers to put in their trial apps for advertisement, then Windows based machines would cost the same or more than Macs. if Apple started to do this then things wouldn't end well for them.

I don't know what your smokin'? Usb is not faster than firewire. As for being the standard on Hd cameras maybe on the lower end stuff. All of the Hd Cam's I used have been firewire standard. Like I said Firewire is peer to peer. Usb is peer to bus to peer. Google it. Noob!!!

I find that as Apple progresses, they are catering to the consumer more than the professional. The glossy screen may be good for consumers but for video editor and other professionals in general, a matte display option is much better. Also give the professionals two Firewire ports.

Stop catering to the consumer Apple. The professionals live by your computers, and if you slack, you will lose them one by one.

I think you missed the point of the video. By the very fact that they are using the Nvidia video chip, it is now a PRO-level video machine priced for the consumer market.

With regards to FireWire, USB2 is as fast or FASTER than FireWire - so what's the "hangup"?

I completely got the point of the video, you just said it, pro-level graphics for the CONSUMER. Anyway, apple machines are used by video pros. And if you did video editing, you would see why I'm frustrated by apple. The standard hard drives and pro cameras follow is FireWire. For a video professional, FireWire is like SLI or Crossfire for the gamer. It's essential. Firewire is the blood and guts for professional video solutions and workflows.

USB isn't faster. It has to got through a USB controller as firewire doesn't.

@kpappletech They have always offered the matte screen, you just have to select it when purchasing it. The colors are duller in the matte version than glossy. I do expect thunderbolt to take over though. I wish there was a few more firewire ports myself though other than that I have no complaints.

I agree to many facts of realcuteguyyayiyayi ... but with all these ... it is still a windows machine... that sucks.... can these innovation help the laptop from crashing... and even with all these innovations it still looks like an other DELL or HP machine.
