Hello, my name is Linnea and I'm doing a project on anesthesiologists for my science class in school. I was wondering if I could please use this video for my project, it would be very helpful. If you could answer me as soon as possible it would be very much appreciated! Thanks
I don't understand people's obsession with money here. I'd rather have a Dr. who cares more about making sure his patients are safe than a moron who got into the field just so he could drive a BMW.
People are so fucking money hungry. I hope these kids chasing money realize the hours they're going to have to put in and the fact that they need to LOVE what they're doing. Otherwise they'll be miserable.
i believe my dad works for an ear nose and throat dr and they make near maybe alittle more then an anesthesiologist, but overall anesthesiology is the only specialty that i can think of that is high paying.
in high school you need to be taking as many high level science and math courses as you can handle. ur gpa in high school should be high although medical schools rarely look at your high school transcripts they instead look at your college transcript. so in college you want your gpa to be atleast a 3.75 or higher
my dad is an anesthesiologist, hes says its rewarding but highly competitve to enter a residency program. hours are NOT 9 to 5 mon to fri. hes on call on his days off and most of the time gets a call. salary is amazing, almost to high lol. excellent career , so study real hard if it is truely what you want to do.
Just to let you guys know an Anesthesiologist can also be a D.O. (still physician). I thought i rep it since i'm gonna be one. Also i would love to get into pain management specifically.
Great video; it emphasises that an anesthesiologist is a physician (MD) not a nurse (CRNA). If money is your primary consideration, reconsider becoming a physician. For the number of hours that you spend in school, internship, residency and the number of hours that you will eventually work per week, there are many jobs that will pay you more.
well it's really not easy, quite challenging actually, you have to know a lot about head and neck anatomy, all physiology, all of pharmacology, internal medicine, pediatrics, quite a lot about surgery, and be manually skilled. hours depend upon the policy of the hospital, but usually are not all that good, depending on your job descript, do you cover ICU as well, ED, trauma team, besides the OR
No it's not easy! Besides the fact that once a patient is under, you have his life in your hands, it's not just about technical skills. Every patient is different, requires different meds, different dosage, etc...
That's My Future Career I Already Knoe What To Do And They Make Half A Million A Year ALot Of Mooney...
