wow this is a really touchy video. yes i know it's hard to lose weight, i weight 235lbs-240 lbs until i start to workout so i can get better life, better self esteem, feeling more happier, so i lose weight, i got my self lost from 240lbs to 215 lbs in few months of workout. workout keeps people mind stable also. =) proud of you both.

Why are the trainers on this show making sometimes 400lb people RUN ON A TREADMILL? I watched the show last night and theres at least 5 people on the show with Knee Braces on. One lady has an aftificial knee. And there still instructing them to run?WTF. When someone is that obese running can not be good for their knees. Why not low impact workouts until they at least get to 300lbs

I am Michelle's sister and have seen first hand the struggles for deaf people in a hearing world.

Is it a pain in the rear? Yes. Did it cause depression issues for her? Yes. Is she letting it ruin the rest of her life? No.

It would be beneficial for the deaf community to have fellow "deafies" to represent a silent crow. I think that the show SHOULD chose them, not just because they are over weight but bc they can teach us and the rest of the "hearing" world issues from a deaf prospective.

I like this and yet I don't. It seems from this video that this couple views themselves as disabled instead of a cultural minority group. In the beginning of this video it talks about how many Americans are disabled and then how many deaf are in this world. Then Kevin says I "broke" through my disability. If anything I feel if they go on the biggest loser they should have the right view of themselves because with that kind of view it will hurt the many deaf who view themselves as a cultural

@Johnnyghill I think that the discussion of them being a cultural minority would be an excellent part of the Biggest Loser program. Biggest Loser has dealt with cultural differences on almost every show in some way. This would allow people to have that discussion in a broad format.

time for them to join because they are just human beings. Time to show deaf role model for EVERYONE in this world, even we have enough of hearing role model but its TIME for deaf people to have FANS, role model to look up even for children as well!!!.. so i dig them to get SELECTED!!! :)

I hope they are chosen, because they need to lose weight and because they seem like they would be enjoyable to watch on the show. I don't think they should be chosen because they are deaf. I love deaf people; but that's not a good reason to put them on the show. The show isn't about deaf or hearing people in particular. I'm hearing, BUT I'm married to a man who was born deaf; so I'm not prejudice against deaf people!

sounds so hopeful but sadly, in a hearing world, the hearing people really don't care about the deaf people anyway.. of course I am deaf too but I wish the hearing people were educated well about the deaf cultures in a first place before they even start considerating about the deaf people.
