@missclarencewhirly79 Exactly! It was Pat Smear's idea along w/ Lorna Doom to do these reunion shows and they asked shane west to do these shows. The guy put up alot of money to produce the movie then went on tour for 2-3 yrs probably making 1/5 or so of what he usually makes. He portrayed one of his idols and most people, famous or not, would jump at that chance!

Shane is playing Darby Crash..... people he is not Darby Crash and he also does not say that he is. Face it there are not many people about whom they make a biopic in the music industry so this shows in actual how much influence Darby and the Germs had on the punk scene in LA and the film is a celebration of that fact.
