  • I agree with you that Lowering collective to reduce pitch will help with control when getting out of settling with power. However in low altitude situations lowering collective will further increase the decent rate. I suggest -

    1. maintain power setting

    2. Forward, or lateral cyclic

    3. Arrest decent.
