I can immagine that those waves arriving from far with that awesome music and the speakers of Radio Luxembourg where like a ray of light and source of many smiles in the grayness and cold of the rigid former Soviet Block
They guys are related to Starlena Young of the groups Slave and Aurra..I bought the album about twenty five years ago..still have it, not bad either. High school days:)
Always liked this song since I was a young teen but never saw the albulm cover to see who Y&C were...now that I finally saw the video I've became a fan. Aside from her signing talents, Jacqueline Thomas (lead vocalist) is so pretty, never knew until till I saw this. Jacqueline if you’re still out there props to you!
@61baobab Oh yes ,what memories ! The Mighty 1440 ! I will never forget those nights in the early 80's ! I was so adiccted to Luxy that often I brought to bed the transistor radio playing this unforgettable music like if it was a dream ..... it was my teddybear :-))
@uckadalma Hi , I remember till present day, when i listed to Luxy when i was in army in earlier 80´s .In this times in former Czechoslovakia in army it was strictly forbidden to have a pocket transistor radio, but for me it was inconceivable to live without this :-) I know and i like much songs from 80´s .
Come and check out some more "lost hits" and "chart wonders" like this one on a new internet radio station, "OffTheCharts!". The station plays the 70's (and some 80's) like you've never heard the decades before! Listen in for free!

Always loved this tune. One hit wonder yes but what a groove. Great to see it performed albeit miming. So is the girl miming the real singer?

@triffid65 Absolutely, yes. You can see her on the front cover of the LP.
