@samotron1984 lol same effects as pc?????? no they dont consoles are very limited to graphics compared to pc they have jagged egdes and screen tearing and lower resolution not to mention they dont have dx 10 or 11 and the games are twice as expensive as pc games

@samotron1984 i agree with you to some points.. but I've always liked PC over consoles for 3 main reasons:

1. you can download games for free and mod your games with extra stuff.

2. i play better with mouse and keyboard

3. PC isn't limited, all you need is money and you can get better performance than consoles.

@dachoisu1234 To be fair DDR3 can compete with DDR5 depending on a few factors. Like a 256bit 1 gb of ddr3 is the same as 128 bit of DDR5. And the PS3 can get up to 700mhz which is comparable to the ATI Rad 5670 which is a fairly respectable card

But in the end we are all gamers, and gameplay is more important than Graphics.

@samotron1984 you get what you pay for. console gaming is cheaper and in most cases you get less quality. with pc gaming you get choice, i.e mods, tweaks etc. most games on console run at 30 fps eg resident evil 5, f1 2010, pes 2011 while a decent gaming pc will break 60 fps with out a sweat. a console gamer knows not the pleasures of anti- aliasing and anisotropic filtering, banishing jagged edges and giving you a sharper depth of field. pc gaming gives you a certain satisfaction you should try

Anti-alliasing, graphics, number of frame, render speed, motion object and blur, everything is better on a 5970...

the video card is great, but the cost is waaay to much, I just bought EVGA GTX 470 Superclocked for 350 bucks, and im satisfied with it, and the machine im building is my first machine, great video thought, love the FPS, try overclocking it to get even more but then go for the liquid cooling and a powerfull PSU.
