Stock bad cat speakers, I think they use bad cat labeled custom Celestions, but they are different - one is a vintage 30 and the other is a greenback. I am not positive about this - if anyone knows for sure, please correct me.
My point is, if you are going to demo an amps sound, don't put a pedal board in front of it. Unless you are demoing the way it takes pedals. Nothing against pedals if you like them. I mention expensive tube amps because if you are going to use pedals to get your sound, you can be just as effective using solid state equipment, or one of the modeling amps.
I believe the best tone comes from the shortest signal path.
Thanks, I really like the other channel as well, it is a great all around amp, and most of the demos you see, they put it through a pedal board first, which I think kills the tone some. Why buy an expensive tube amp and put your signal through a transistor before it hits the 1st tube? I will say the camera mic missed a lot of what I was hearing.
@mrampcat Some people (myself included) think you can get a great (some might say "better", but what does that mean anyway) tone with pedals - and how does an amp's cost have anything to do with it? Hell, there are so many sounds you can't get WITHOUT pedals that it seems silly to limit yourself - though blues purists may disagree.
I played a DC30 and a BC30r for years - my back eventually compained! Oh, and my need for higher gain...

The only downside to the amp is moving it!

Great sound! I got one of those a few months ago, sonic domination over all my band members. Nice. Great playing too :>)
