@lachie19940 alma is there mother, she was pregnant, the brothers were trying to get the baby, Fettel, said all he wanted was for the family to be toghether, but really he wanted the baby for power, and point-man really was just following fettels orders till he figured out what he wanted it for.

In FEAR 1 Pointman created a time-machine, and went back in time to have sex with his mother, but in doing so he had to kill his father, who came back to haunt him in the body of his unborn brother. It's not important. What's important is that you should stop watching LPers who skip story scenes, and should play the first and second game before you buy this one.

The last boss fight was kinda silly, more than the game itself, since you're apparantly supposed to stick to the pistol since it has unlimited ammo, which never occured to me since the pistol is crap. So instinctivly I just switched it and kept running out of ammo during the fight =P But hey you win anyway apparantly. See why its silly?

Before F3AR came out I went to play FEAR 1 and 2. I like Fear 1 but it got me mad at some parts. Fear 2 look a bit like Halo if it went Gears of War. (Good combination maybe it came before Gears)

Is it just me, or is The Creep inspired by Valtiel from Silent Hill 3? Anyway, I seriously recommend you get the first FEAR and do a walkthrough, it's definitely the best and scariest. Graphics-wise it's still good by today's standards, but out of all 3 FEAR games it definitely has the best lighting and shadows.

@bloodytriggerz no man.... the fettel wanted to consume the baby to become a god like, thats what he tells him in the end right before he vanishes if you paid a close attention, however the brother comes close to Alma and from the looks of it he feels its wrong and compassion for the baby when in her eyes she knows she is going to die but would want the baby to live. a great game and a story. if you play all of 3 fears, you would have a better idea.i recommend it.

@Sethcloud81 Actually, if you see the Fettel(bad) ending, He refers to consuming Alma's body, not the baby's. I don't wanna give anything away if you haven't seen it, but ah well. In Fettel's(bad) ending, he takes over Point Man's body and after taking the baby, he tells Alma that he will use the baby and Point Man as puppets. He then proceeds to eat Alma's body. If you don't believe me, watch the ending, it's rather gruesome but pretty good. But I agree with you, it is a great game and story :)
