@6215331 No. Just no. People commit sucide because they feel hopeless or depressed, not because they want to die. If they were happy, they wouldn't be committing suicide. When you save someone, it's not selfish. It's because you care, and you want to give them another chance at life and happiness. Selfish, my butt. Human life has value. If you can help someone be happy with their life so they don't want to die, do it.
good on you man, i saved one of my friends from suicide, she slit her wrist in the shower and i heard her fall in the tub. called 911 and bandaged her up as best i could, paramedics said if i wasn't there she would have died. she's doing better now and we got her on some good meds and weekly group meetings plus therapy. you should always be vigilant and be ready to give a helping hand. these people are just depressed and most really are just looking to see if someone cares. help them.
The stop motion effect happened on the render process and couldn't be assed to re-do the video. Sorry. It's still an amazing video though! Thanks for watching.
Really? the way they treated her once she was back over the railing with them is just pathetic, Yes yes... Forceful manhandling and restraint is just the way to Traumatize someone even further when you should just be letting them know you care. How Pathetic...
@ForgottenWolf88 If someone is trying to kill themselves, you don't want to give them half a chance to do it. You need to have them COMPLETELY under control before you can start to comfort them.
@jjenson2006 Thats not fucking funny. Stop trying to get a top comment you hartless basterd. Scuicide is NOT a funny thing. I am a victim of attempted scuicide! Maybe you should think before you post!
@DeathReady4Ever It wasn't intended to be funny. It was to point out that the person was not saved because the person will still be depressed and suicidal; and I wasn't trying to get a top comment.
....but thankyou for calling me hartless[sic] basterd[sic].
Never said scuicide[sic] was a funny thing.
Maybe you should think before casting judgement on other posters?
@Teghead Yeah. Get on the ledge so she is even more likely to be able to pull you down with her. Smart. Why don't you go try and get back to us how it goes?
in most countries, especially in the west, the police have the right to arrest people who pose a risk to themselves or others, regardless of whether they have commited a crime or not.
it's usually used for people who have phsycological issues, like this woman for example.
I wonder what brought her to that state. So often it's a cheating wife or husband. How can one have pleasure at such an expense to the one who cares for them most! I can't believe adultery isn't punishble by death anymore!
This is from a movie called "the bridge" about people jumping off the golden gate bridge in SF. They left a camera rolling on it for a year or something and caught a bunch of people trying to jump off it. It has the most suicide jumpers of any bridge in the world.
If someone is going to kill themselves and they are already in the position to do it, grabbing them and preventing them isn't saving them, if they want to end their shit, it's their choice, they know the consequences, I know that when I go for it (And I'm right on the edge with my life,) I know I don't want anyone to "save" me, She's gonna spend the next 5 to 10 years in a mental hospital being treated like a 3 year old, that's not saving... That's making the pain worse...
@MrGoboka A person who waits does not wanna die. If someone is out there for taking their own lives.. They do is fast.. With nobody watching. No reason to wait at all. Save what can be saved. Whatever it takes.
There's no such thing as an "edge" bro, you have to bring yourself out of the hole you're in. I've been in that position and I love my life now, I couldn't ask for me. You create your own happiness, you just have to accept the good and the bad in order to live. Nothing is worth losing a life over, nothing at all. The people who care for you wouldn't EVER want to see that happen, why would you give up on the people that care for you?
@NorbyIII Most places suicide is a crime and when a person fails the person is viewed the same as someone who caused manslaughter by most courts. Unless they're having break downs, are ill, or on drugs and don't know what they are doing then they get help with their issues.
@fakenameneeded thank you! lol i was wondering why she was getting arrested at the end too when it was only herself she was going to kill.. you explained everything :)
@DealGenerator i suppose. but there are also many accounts of people being rape or beaten up in front of an apartment or on the streets, and no one helps or calls 911.
thats america for you he saved her life then they cuff her

no the 2 dislikes are from rational people who believe that it is immoral to force someone to stay alive.
if someone wants to commit suicide, let them. just don't try to convince them otherwise because you are too selfish to let them go.
