@XTJimbo1910 When you're getting ripped, take fruit out of your diet until you reach your goal. Fruit still has a lot of sugar and will affect the calorie balance. Do your best to reduce sugar as much as possible, even if it is a natural sugar as in fruit
According to the How Much Protein website, 100 grams of skinless chicken breast has approximately 23.5 grams of protein. Therefore, if you were to consume chicken breast as a protein source for 1 of your daily meals, would you eat approximately 200 grams of the chicken breast (so that you would get your recommended 50 grams of protein for that meal?) If so, you would consume roughly 1000 grams of chicken breast per day?
@loobdabeast1 Thanks for the comment. Yes, what you have said is correct however the amount of protein needed per day for each person is different. Work out your goal weight in pounds then multiply it by 1.5 then divide it by 5 or 6 depending on how many meals you wish to have per day. eg: If your goal weight is 160 pounds, you will need 240 grams of protein. That's 40 grams each meal for 6 meals. If this is too much for your liking, then work on 1 gram of protein per pound of ideal bodyweight.
These five-day reports are much more interesting than the fat-back episodes because of the detail you're providing in food and exercise. What's rather discouraging, though, is that you slipped back by 10 kgs -- which raises the question that once you ballooned up so much, from now on, you may have to fight the battle of the bulge just like so many others.
@rmshowley Thanks for your message. I let myself slip on purpose just for this series of videos, to demonstrate the ripping process. As I always say though, once you get ripped, you learn how to stay in shape, incorporating all foods and liquids back into your diet and in moderation. The first time is always the hardest but after that, 5 kilos up and down is a breeze.

You are extremely inspiring. Realism is important. Too many people live in fantasyland and are disappointed.
Thank you for laying out a plan that is based in science and not trying to sell magical thinking.

oats with water sounds very plain.... what about milk? 50 grams of meat isn't very much.
itubeutude 1 year ago
@itubeutude when you're getting ripped, water is better...milk isn't ideal. As for the meat, it's 50 grams of protein...not 50 grams of meat:-)

@PJFATANDBACK what's wrong with milk? and how do you measure protein in a piece of meat?
