Attention haters. He meant that as a compliment. Havn't you heard "so funky it stank" or "playin' some shit"? So I'm quessing that he meant these people slip into a music store in the middle of some shit work day and SURPRISE - Robert & Band laying down some funky, stanky, shit!! That would make anyones day wouldn't it?

To have one album like Unclassified or Colorblind in one's catalog is an accomplishment. To have both is something else altogether. They're one of the few albums released in the past decade where I can say that every song on them is great (like Layla or Who's Next).
This is something new and lively-sounding, funk by way of blues, rock, and gospel. And it goes without saying that they kick ass live, too.

It took a few listens for the album to grow on me but now I love it. Saw them play this live last week. Incredible! Such a talented band. So much soul and funk!
