What's the big deal with this talk of whether or not someone uses a single or dbl? Its personal preference. Tony's been doing it for years. He started with a dbl pedal and can kill a single pedal be it right or left. Some of you will find anything to bag on I swear.

As had been pointed out already, this is a drum competition; ofc the drummer will lead. Saying that drummers aren't leads is absolutely irrelevant to this video. You're not honestly saying you don't believe he can play back-up, are you? Considering he's already had multiple VERY SUCCESSFUL gigs... Tony Royster Jr. is an extremely talented, fresh, and influential drummer. It's almost comical that you could imply that he couldn't "get a steady gig".

for a man that played in shows since he was 2 years old it was very easy to see - he was in need of learning something new to do , it was as if he played the exact same solo note for note.the only thing that ever changed were his clothes and wigs . if you check out all of buddies videos on youtube you will see what i am talking about. i started playing drums 40 years ago
