how do you stop at highspeed

either foot drag or, if you're wearing gloves, you can powerslide. but both get pretty sketchy above 30 mph or so and depend a lot on how comfortable you are on the board

best way to stop is sliding, wether it be coleman, stand up or pendy they're all the same in terms of stopping.

hah thanks man, my new dervish's grip unfortunately isn't nearly as cool and the old board is really cracked and dead. wish i'd taken the time to put on a sweeter design like this old one!

@PalmTreesAreSexy - nah it's a small town abou 45 minutes west of Boston. The grip worked fine for me, you may want to do thicker strips but I never really had an issue with it. Just don't sand the whole board, only the sections you've traced out for the strips.

hey man, what roads in harvard are you guys riding? i live in bolton, and its hard to find decent pavement. also, i went to high school with the stones, cool kids.

in this video, the first hill is old littleton road...just got repaved within the last year so it's AWESOME to ride. going in the opposite direction towards littleton is awesome too. The second big hill is littleton rd, steeper but not as long and the pavement's sketchier. Lots more fun hills too. bolton has some fun hills though - fox run/kettle hole area, the hill that turns into scott road once you hit harvard, dunno too many others

did you take off the spray grip and put on new tape to make the design or is it paint?

it's griptape - i sketched out where i wanted to lay the strips, cut them to fit (the confusing part - they come out backwards), then sanded off the spray grip within the lines where i wanted to stick the new tape and lay them down. a little tricky getting around the trucks
