sent the previous question to support- no reply... pasted it here - thought that maybe someone can help - nothing....the machine could be nice but the service - isn't at all ... :(
@kluri1 Sorry you're having trouble. Could you please try emailing support at mypressi.com again as we can't find any record of it. Maybe it didn't come through. We do usually reply to every email within one business day or less. You can also email me direct (stephen at mypressi.com) and I'll personally ensure the issue is resolved.
The 2nd time I use a canister-the pressure is too low & nothing comes out.
I spent 20 canisters on trying everything: I weight the coffee, use pro grinder, WDT for distribution, custom tamper, tamp on a digital weight, use mineral water..
still, every time I'm doing everything the same but the canister was used once - the pressure is too low and I have to do everything again with a new canister. Is my myPressi defective? What can it be?
@philnolan3d Your absolutely correct regarding the work aspect, there are a few fundamental steps to making coffee. However the actual expense on a TWIST is miniscule in comparison to a commercial machine and requires no outlet, making it extremely portable. I sincerely hope you get a chance to try one, with your past experience as a barista I'm confident the mypressi TWIST will truly impress your palate. Cheers- Sarah
@philnolan3d and what did you do at the coffee shop? clean the bathrooms? because you obviously dont know much about expnses with espresso machines or how much work is it to make a good coffee... lol
@philnolan3d then you should know that a decent espresso machine that makes coffee like mypressi costs at least 800 dollars, and the amount of work to fill the portafilter and push the trigger is the same on any non automatic machine :)
@dereek3 The time it takes is a function of the grind. If your shot is running too fast, and you are using the standard basket, then you need a finer grind, or try switching to the coarse basket. However you can't beat the results from a fresh grind out of a good grinder. A good grinder will cost upwards of $200, and often many times more, but will completely transform your perspective on espresso.
@dereek3 also, don't forget to use the proper water volume. If you want longer shots you can adjust the volume inside the water bowl. Play around with the volume and fresh ground coffee, super important for honest to goodness tasty shots!
Yes!! Impressive . Good stuff. I like her.

Is the machine used to boil the water made by MyPressi? if not what brand is it?

@caviarcbr It is the H2O Plus Water Kettle by Capresso.

Having worked in coffee shops for a number of years this seems like a lot of work and expense compared to a normal espresso machine.

I also am blown away. Wow. Sorry, the video was just so good!
When I use mine the shots don't run for so long? Should they? I want my shots to taste as good as yours looked. Yum.
Enjoy.
